i love my HD330. Went for it as it was on special and was amongst the few kayaks i was looking at that can handle my height(6ft10) and weight (137kg) with the possiblilities to have a motor and a battery, mods ect that wont push the max load limit. First day i got it was just on the local dam on a calm winters day. Next time with my mate along cox's river where there was logs and branches and plenty off possile points that my mind went "oh dont pop", but after the abuse i put it through, came out fine. One thing i found out while cleaning it after a few weeks of use was that the inflatable bottom can come out, which makes it better to clean and prevent mould!

I'm so keen to get myself one of these kayaks. I wanna get out on the water with my old dog while there's good days left, and then keep going to distract myself when the time comes. Glad to hear you've had good luck with snags on it, that's exactly what I wanted to hear. My go-to place is Jamieson and the rest of lake Eildon, with underwater trees galore. You mentioned accessories, what ones did you recommend? I'm thinking I'll get some more mounting points, did you add any yourself, did it go well? That watersnake sounds like a good idea, too. 🤔 Cheers for the awesome video mate, and thanks for giving me the cod itch again! 😅
@Kyle_Barber2 ай бұрын
Glad to hear. The accessories will be railblazer products- rod holders, sticky inserts, cup holder. I haven’t added the inserts yet but I will eventually. Thawali 12v pump will make it easier to inflate. And the fin can be replaced by their fins. I’ll be doing a full rundown in the back yard soon to show the set up.
