Oh my. It’s getting cheesy in here.

I can't find measure or dimension in plasticity. I have an indie license. Is this a studio license only tool?
Thank you from Ukraine!
Welcome!
So why is Steve not on the dev team again???
yeah, wish he was.
But on the other hand he wouldn't have total control of what he wants to develop
The intermittent appearance of this animal with that broken and unpleasant sound is very disgusting and annoying.
Auto Bevels/Chamfers would be even cooler :)
DO you mean Hold edges? I would like that as well.
@@Pixelfondue Yes. I haven't even thought that it might be nice to have holding edges in Primitives, before seeing this video.
I also like the remove all fillets command. Is there a command to remove selected fillet? Sometimes you have to push/pull to get the exact distance which can be a pain
Select the Fillet Face and press delete to remove it.
awesome thank you
You're welcome!
I tried to do that using sweep command, but the result was too bad. I didn't know that pipe command give us the ability to do that. Thanks for letting us know.
Welcome
Very cool. I wasn't aware of the Solid Drill Material option.
Stencil is extremely useful.
That`s actually cool!
Thanks!
Would be cool if there was a quick way to add color as well
Doesn't take too long with all of modos selection options/tools
I think you can with some of Steve's kits. Color from the closest point on mesh.

Nice! Thanks!
Funny enough, I was looking at the same stitching pattern when I thought to my self "I wonder how I can add this to marvelous?". Thanks for the awesome tutorials.
You are so welcome!
I needed this. THANK YOU!
You're so welcome!
очень крутая техника... благодарю вас...

Hi, do you have Nevercenter Silo in your toolset? It would be great if you could create some Silo related videos. I wanted to try the demo version for some old school box modeling exercises, but there are no other video tutorials available except the old ones on their official site.
I dont. If they gave me a copy Id be happy to make some.
This... is... madness
Madness can be fun :)
Pleasant and straightforward. Thanks.
Welcome!
You are a very good narrator. Your video editing, the length of the video is very well thought out...great. A very good resource to learn Plasticity 3D. Thank you very much for the lessons you prepared, I benefited a lot.
Thanks
Tachikoma!
GITS is one of my all time favorites
Nice, I had no idea about this one. Cheers for the tip!
Welcome... Enjoy
All good searches for Plasticity end up here! Another 30 second video that saved hours of tedious work!
Good to hear
I love using snapping in vertex mode, I click the vertex I want to align to centre the move gizmo on it, then drag a single axis on the gizmo to any other vertex in the scene. It’s super fast and effective for almost anything I do.
Nice
good
Thanks
wait ! why your UI different with 17.0v5? is this 17.1?
Yes, 17.1 alpha (publically available - testing out new UI)
@@Pixelfondue where i can get it?
@@user-lj5ru9bz5l mm, I think you can download from the Foundry forums (the Alpha). Primo link in the desc.
@@Pixelfondue no about informations about 17.1 in Foundry forums
@@user-lj5ru9bz5l Do you have a current license? community.foundry.com/discuss/forum/427/modo-public-beta-discussion
good
Thanks
good
Thanks
@@Pixelfondue 17.1 isout? i saw you video about Primo .the ui so different for now version !
Thanks bro.....super clear
Welcome 👍
Penrose Triangles always give me a headache lol
:)
O yeah! Steve is a machine.
Steve Rocks!
just a normal shape...
Pretty basic
Very nice add on for Modo primitive. Hope they get integrated in Modo basic primitive even if I already bought it😀
I cant imagine going back to the default primitives
These look awesome. Great work Steve! You can alt+click those snapping mode icons to make only that one you clicked active btw. That's one of my highlights of things I added that annoyed me, saves a click every time 😂
Thanks for the tip!
Why can't I get it to print out right? 😂
lol. You could print this if you patched the end of the cut.
Woah, this is very sneaky, I love it!
Glad you like it!
This is amazing Steve! Thanks so much Greg for this video... absolutely drives home the value of this plugin. And look good rockin the glasses!
'Lore Accurate' Love it. I'm hitting 40 now and I'm noticing my eyesight getting worse, too. Still good enough, but it's getting worse pretty fast :) Well, faster than I imagined!
❤
Lets create this simple solid :D
🤞 yo thanks man!
Welcome
IMO, there should have been a profile generator with a set of predetermined shapes attached to the helix, maybe that will get added in
That's a good request. How about some updated cross section shapes and a shape editor built into the tool palette....
Thank you, thank you , thank you. All the other tutorials I found were too advanced and I just get stuck on some basic move. This is the best! More like this please!
Great! Exactly what it was for, you may want to try the Stun Gun ones next - it goes pretty slow. kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y6arstlvqJm_e9o.html
When will you do importing curves/text from vector/illustrator? Encountered many problems there. Had to trace the curves again in plasticity so i am doing something wrong i guess. Many thanks!
Already covered it last year- kzread.info/dash/bejne/n2Z8tsh6cZmanZc.htmlsi=NsM-TyiB_RwqZubT . Soon there will be direct SVG import to Plasticity... it works perfect... be on the look out for updates.
Go Steve!
These are very "CADish" tools, I'll be playing with this tonight
Thank you so much for putting this together!
dark theme in Modo. HOW?
New Alpha - it's public if you want to try.
@@Pixelfondue good to know. Are they giving option to scale the UI for high density screens?
I think in 18 with the full QT update
@@Pixelfondue thats greet ! oh yes !
@@Pixelfondue where can i get the alpha?
Simple and useful.
Agreed.
😮
William, can you add another video showing how to flatten the ends of this spring and/or make the first & last revolutions a smaller offset than the spring's body? (Something like a Closed and Ground spring)
To flatten the ends you could add hold edges or use Edge Weights.
cool
Thanks!
