Hello everybody!
Welcome to my channel. Here I play the older games that escaped my attention back when they were revolutionary.Today, they're known as classics, and I'm here to share my genuine first-time experiences with you, whether it's joy and excitement, or anger and frustration.
I also delve into the lore of The Elder Scrolls series and present my findings, sharing the best stories in the series that you have never heard before. These videos take a while to make, so please be patient!
I hope you enjoy what I have to offer so far. Stick around, because more is on the way.

Just makes me sad that games can't have complex stories like this AND look good
For the bit re: Convention taking place on Nirn, but the theory that Lorkhan’s body became Nirn: A possible solution to this contradiction is that, according to theory, Convention occurred during the Dawn era, which is also described as a period where ‘time followed an incomprehensible nonlinear path’. With this, and the power that Lorkhan kept, and possibly his trickery involved with the creation of the Mundus; could it be that another part of Lorkhan’s great trick or lie was that killing him, or through some final act of his own power while he was being killed, some change occurred which made Nirn thus exist from his sundered form? Could the act of killing him have triggered his heart’s integral role in the existence of Nirn? Maybe not explaining this the best, but yeah, there are a lot of unknowns and honestly, I think this could fit his trickster personality very well. Especially if there is then a long-term goal to undo the work of Anu’s creation.
Pelinal, possibly a Shezzarine, saying his maniacal homicidal rages feel like “when the dream no longer needs its dreamer” goes hard AF. Think about having a dream and the beings in it being so wronged, that the dream itself becomes animate and goes on a rage bender. This gets even crazier when you consider the concept of the Godhead, and all of the Aurbis being a dream. Either the creation/dream itself, or Shor/Lorkhan, being the heart of Mundus itself, was PISSED at the Ayleids. Just. Damn.
I love how rich of a story Elder Scrolls series have
Thanks I'm about too start playing and I heard this game had many endings.
all of my gang is tsaecsi
The fact that this video has no subtitles is a crime, even 5 years later.
Old but gold
Great work friend
Underrated game
I still can’t figure out if Gothryd is a good guy or a bad guy. If you present the letter exposing lord woodborne to him or aubki they try to kill you (?) it’s confusing because the writing about this game and the diegetic story telling are different sometimes
Did Barenziah keep Tharn's child?
Honestly when i heard snow demons, I thought of Karstaag, I know he's a frost giant and they are kinda of their own thing but it'd be interesting if they're actually related and are remnants of that attempted Morrowind invasion
Plot twist, the unnamed knight from the eso cinematic was Pelinal before he got sent back in time.
What about Trinimac? The Aedra turned Daedra?
I mean, this is how real history and mythology works when you think about it.
Ted Peterson seems like a really talented and smart individual but his comment at 1:20:00 is really dumb. Black people irl tend to have more muscle mass and are least likely to get sunburned. You can see that as 'Plus 10 strength' and '20% resistance to fire'. It's okay to make the humanoid race have racial differences. Also, if the different elf races have unique bonuses then why shouldn't the different races of humans have different bonuses? In the lore, the Dwemer were geniuses and that's part of what makes them so fascinating.
It's generally best practice for a game developer to avoid specific real-world analogues.
@@AB-sw4kb I'm not saying Redguards should have fire resistance. The racial bonuses doesn't need to be analogous. But saying it's racist for different races to have different inherent bonuses is just nonsense.

Tiber Septim purged Elves with what is basically an NEXT Armored Core that deletes reality by screaming "NOOOOO!!!" at it. Easily the best emperor.
Did you know one of the drafted original plots for Skyrim would’ve seen Uriel V still be alive, and return to take back Tamriel with an army of dragons?
There may have been a bunch of other casualties, but you just love to see those altmer get subjugated
I never comment on YT, and I'm dipping before spoilers, but I just wanted to say two things: one, I'm excited to come back to this to hear your thoughts on a game I've been interested in, and two, I really enjoy your videos and hope you return to them someday when you're ready.
I get this is an old video and I don't know how many people will see this but When Pelinal screamed "Reman!", it's just as, if not more likely that he meant it literally. "Reman" means "Light of Man." Just a thought 🤷♂
Me and every non-english speaker can't thank you enough for putting captions in your videos
Personally I have to admit that the akaviri stuff has always been kinda lame to me Good video though I always enjoy 👍
23:20 idk man, the last two sound like the best, they both don’t involve the deaths of innocents.
You need to finish this series man, all the way to the most recent lore. You are by far the best story teller I’ve come across on this subject and myself and for sure many others are dying for more
Yessssssssssss
I thought gortwog stopped woodbourne? Was i lied to? Bamboozled by the orc i gave a magical gundam robot to? Prank'd into freeing the slaves?
Didn't the Nerevarine sailed to Akavir after the events of TES3? If so, there has been contact between the two continents even after Uriel V's failed campaign.
My best guess is that the totem is kinda like an AI that remotely pilots the giant dwarven mech of mass destruction. That's why it can use telepathy, seemingly has a mind of its own and a new one can't be made so easily.
The more I learn about TES lore, the more parallels I see between Cyrodiil and Rome. The Akaviri invasion is reminiscent of Caesar's invasion of Britain.
I think Talos like Whitestike was basically Shor. Same with Wolf. So Tiber didn't ascend but instead represents Shazaar
'This was the right call' *nordic chanting intensifies*
I 100% agree! The introduction of the deitfied Tiber Septim messed up the balance! Blessings of the 8 upon yous!
I swear....there is no fantasy lore that is more interesting than the Elder Scrolls universe.
Elder scrolls Abridged? So what, there's gonna be card games on motorcycles?
Tiber Septim: Illegitimate child will be a problem for my heirs and legacy! Kill it! Martin Septim: Wow, good thing he didn't know about me, then.
"Abridged" led me to believe this would be a joke recap lol
One of the best video essays out there. I reference this video often in debates. Very useful lore that is often ignored.
I would give my left kidney to have a game that takes place in Akavir. It would clear up all the blurry lore and it would probably be downright awesome. Unfortunately, there are so many awesome ideas for the world of Nirn, and I don't think TES 13 Akavir will come out during my lifetime, if ever.
13? Stop dreaming bro. With the pace bethesda is going, i would be surprised if i get to see tes10 before my death (i’m 21 btw)
@@vaibhavtyagi6148 No fr I expect to see TES 7 when I'm 88 years old (I'm 17 btw) My point still stands. A game set in Akavir will probably never happen :(
Didnt yokuda get destroyed due to crazy sword fights?
Ambition is on the list of virtues of the divines taught. If Stendarr is to Work then Talos is to Ambition
in the cinematic right after you create character, Ria Silmaine says that SHE spawned the key in your cell so you can scape
Barenziah had ADHD
