  Great video thankyou for the upload. My GT-R had one side stop working years ago, which I had a shop repair for me, now the left side has stopped working on the retract but will still extend - so likely the copper contact gone like you've shown. I'll have to have a crack at this when I can be bothered lol

  Yeah no problems at all, that noise is so weird I think it’s like the heater or something along those lines my skyline does it too

  Does not have any bad affects on anything actually is better deleting because they are common for tearing and failing

  I don’t think so, taking it off would probably be the best way to do this but once u get the new lock it up can throw the grill back on no problem

  Good video, I'm going to try it on mine since it's been that way since I bought it! One thing I read though, once you put the mirrors in or out, return the switch to the center position .

  @@stavhanna Yeah, worked a treat thanks mate! Apparently the motor keeps driving and causes the issue if not returned to off.

  You pull the grill out in that case. Lift or chop the buttons on the left and right and it just pulls out. The top plate will come with it.
