HD Calcs

Hello and welcome to HD Calcs! We're putting together quick and useful calculator tutorials that hopefully make math class a little bit more fun.

I've included Amazon links in some of my video descriptions, to find the calculators I am talking about. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases using this link.

    I have the TI 20xa calculator stuck on deg and rad. How do i turn those off and just use it for basic functions?

  • @HDCalcs
    @HDCalcs5 күн бұрын

    Your calculator will always be in DEG, RAD, or GRAD mode, but these should only matter when you are doing calculations with angles. For basic functions it will not have any effect.

    You can also do fraction exponents by pressing 4, then the up arrow, press 1, press the “A b/c” button, and then 2. (using the 4^1/2 example he uses in the video)

    can you use this calculator for temperature conversion?

  • @HDCalcs
    @HDCalcsАй бұрын

    As far as I know there is no built in function for converting temps on this calculator. To do the calculation you would need to use the formula: Celsius = (Fahrenheit - 32) / 1.8
