    Hi @joshuahack3231! Switching from Fahrenheit to Celsius is easy! Simply follow the video above to access the Menu and go to Program 7 to change the temperature format from F to C. Thanks!

    I have this exact device. Resetting doesn’t fix issue with thermostat.My floor thermostat is reading the wrong temperature (42 degrees despite floor absolutely freezing). I followed instructions to reset but it still thinks the floor is 42 degrees, I’ve also tried calibrate the floor thermostat but it’s only letting me bring it down by 5 degrees and it now reads 38 degrees which still won’t let me turn heating on. I’ve also realised how limited the amount of information provided by this company is online. I have two of these devices and neither will connect to the app either 😂. I have messaged customer services via the app let’s see if anyone gets back to me.

    Can this thermostat be managed by smartlife app? I saw one of your earlier videos showing smartlife app being used, but didn't realise models have changed. I tried using smartlife following that video, but it wasn't able to find the thermostats. So now I have two thermostats for which I have to use a different app from my other appliances, and that app shows your password every time you start it. Much worse app than smartlife in my opinion.

    Does the 'flame' image appear when the floor is heating up (when the floor is programmed with different turn on and turn off times times), or does the 'flame' only light up when manually turning the floor on?

  • @lukechant3884
    @lukechant38847 ай бұрын

    The flame will show when the floor is heating. So as it cycles on and off to maintain the temp the flame will go on and off.

    Thanks so much for this. I’ve hated this thermostat since it was installed. Too fussy and complicated. But this explanation was excellent and I think I have it going properly now. First time in the years since installation that I haven’t given up in complete frustration with trying to get the thing working. I just wanted something simple that I could easily turn on and off, no confusing programming, but this video was perfect as I stood in front of the thermostat watching the video and followed the instructions. Loved the warm bathroom floor in a cold winter central tablelands.

    Does this allow for both under floor and towel rail heating dual function?

  • @HotwireHeatingAu
    @HotwireHeatingAu Жыл бұрын

    Hi Tom. This model doesn't but we have one on the way that will. If you use our towel rails the timer is built in to the rail so you don't actually need a timer at all.

    Installed by an electrical contractor or wired by an electrical contractor? Seems you can do all the labor yourself and then the electrical contractor can just come and confirm everything you have done and wore it to electricity, no?

  • @HotwireHeatingAu
    @HotwireHeatingAu2 жыл бұрын

    The law is different in the various states of Australia, however to our understanding an electrical contractor is required for all parts of the installation. It may be best to check with your local Electrician.

    Beautiful video! I`m interesting with installing the same on my ensuite bathroom. It`s 1,8 x 1.8 m (may be I have to exclude an under toilet pan area). However... it has a trap at the centre of the floor, so... no self leveling mixtures can be used... It needs for a slightly sloped to the centre screed. Is this set suitable for such floor configuration, please? Thank you.

  • @HotwireHeatingAu
    @HotwireHeatingAu4 жыл бұрын

    Hi Alexander. You can still use Floor Leveller. A good installer will able to ensure it does not compromise your drain. The other option would be to use our In Screed Heating which is very similar but is installed under the screed. Feel free to call our office on 1300 HOTWIRE and we can help you out.
