    I got a full body search because I "only" had a passport, no driver's license. I am a US citizen. Have never had that in any of the +25 other countries I have traveled to. I dread going to US airports because they are so rude, theyyell just because they want to d!ck wag.

    F..k the annoyed agents ! Especially when they take your carry on bag of valuables for further inspection while you are not able to see that they took it because of another agent at the x-ray scanner and then DOES NOT tell you they took it for further inspection. Then they get mad when you stressfully ask where is my bag ? F..k them !

    I'll worry about what ticks off these pathetic TSA agents when this theater show actually becomes security, instead of failing every outside security test by up to 90% to 95%! Also, ALL the weed products are NOT LEGAL! States cannot make what is FEDERALLY illegal into something that is legal. It's just that ALL the past presidents have decided to ignore their oath of office and not ENFORCE those laws and punish the states that have tried to supersede federal laws. That's why ALL travel methods make it illegal to bring that stuff with you across state lines AND on ALL methods of transport that aren't personal its banned as well. trains, planes, busses, ships, etc.

    Many of your suggestions are good, but a few were off: . The "personal item" part devolved into a rather annoying ad for a specific brand of suitcase even though you were supposedly talking about a "personal bag." . As a woman with a medical condition that makes wearing pants and leggings excruciatingly painful, what is the difference in embarrassment level of being patted down wearing a skirt vs pants or leggings? They're ALL awkward. Btw, if it happens, you're always patted down by a female agent, and you're given the option of going to a private room for the pat-down. (I have no idea what they do for non-binary people.) . There's no reason to not wear cargo pants or shorts. Wearing something with pockets makes a lot of sense when you are forbidden from carrying more than a personal bag or a personal roll-on bag (some fares ONLY allow you to have the personal bag and no roll-on!). Just don't load up *all* the pockets! It also helps to move any change into something . It's not so much metal, but *magnetic metals* (steel, copper, iron) that set off the TSA metal detectors. It would've been better if you'd have mentioned this right away in the bobby pins and jewelry sections. Titanium doesn't set off the TSA metal detectors because it's not magnetic. Also, if one needs to tie up one's hair, scarves are a much better option for many folks. . Wearing multiple layers often makes a lot of sense, especially when you're traveling from one temperature extreme to another. A better piece of advice is to pick garments that can fit into your carry-on luggage or that can be "worn yet not-worn." For example, if I'm traveling from a place that's 85°F to one that's 65°F, I'll want to have a lightweight short-sleeved top, a cotton pull-over sweater, and a jacket. In the 85°F climate, I can tie the sweater around my neck (almost like a scarf) and the jacket around my waist. When I'm on the plane, I can easily use the sweater and jacket to thermo-regulate, depending upon how strong the air conditioning on the plane gets. When I get to the other end, I can put them all on and be appropriately dressed for the climate. If I'm going from 85°F to 45°F, I'll have an overcoat in my carry-on or sometimes in my checked luggage that I can easily grab when I get to baggage claim. There were two major pieces of information missing: 1. The one hard to avoid item that sets off the TSA equipment every time is disposable underwear, such as Depends. If you need to wear that kind of thing, you're screwed. Similarly, sanitary napkins set them off, and if you're of a religious conviction that forbids tampons, you're screwed. 2. One MAJOR thing your security expert didn't warn you about is how to keep your valuables from being stolen by the people working at the TSA checkpoint. I was traveling with my dog (on plane) at San Jose International (SJC) when I was ordered to put my wallet into their little cup to go through the machine, then initially not allowed to go through the metal detector with my dog when it had reached the other side and was pulled off by one of the agents. By the time I got through, my wallet was missing. The agents kept making ME go through the detector instead of checking the other side. I filed a police report, and the only thing that was clear was that it was an "inside job" (one or more of the TSA agents were in on it), and whoever did it knew exactly what the cameras could and couldn't see. To keep this from happening, I always stick my wallet into a pocket of a coat or bag going through the X-ray machine. If the TSA agent has to go through awkward looking machinations to get to my ID, they're less likely to want to try to steal them.

    TSA Precheck is a misnomer. You will wonder WTH when you are the lucky recipient of a Boarding Pass with SSSS on the lower lefthand side of the pass. SSSS on a boarding pass stands for Secondary Security Screening Selection, which means the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has selected a passenger for additional security screening. This can happen on any flight to, from, or within the U.S., including international flights. So you paid $100 for TSA Precheck. What you really bought is a SSSS raffle ticket. My wife is a two-time winner.

    the info was very light any resort that is not all inclusive will do much of what you say so not specific to all inclusive hotell and ppl dont care it is more expensive they like it is more or less one cost.

  • @truetraveltreasures
    @truetraveltreasures8 күн бұрын

    No it's not specific to all but some resorts are mediocre and they advertise as much more. So travelers should not have high expectations before doing specific research of the one they may be interested in. I had an experience that alerted me I should have looked into it more b4 going. So I am talking from experience which could have been one off, but I am putting travelers on the alert so it doesn't happen to them. Thats just it in a nutshell.

  • @truetraveltreasures
    @truetraveltreasures8 күн бұрын

    @@sweetpea1989 If you make a general statement to bring awareness, it is quite OK. I have gone to all inclusive resorts that were good and some that were bad. So my video is stating the obvious to be alert. For example, I have gone to Decameron Hotel in Montego Bay and the cost per night was not worth the service and food that I received. I did not want to put a certain hotel in my video. Instead, I did a video giving an alert to do your research. That's all that is. I can do a specific video on Decameron Hotel, but what if someone else went there and had a different experience? So that is why I didn't. Thanks for your comments. Well taken. Have a great day.
