    It's pretty apparent to me. If you're watching on a phone you may not be heading much of a difference, bc it's mainly the bass response.

    The ebony fretboard will brighten up the tone , I think I could live with the original pick-up , excellent review,the best on you tube 💫

    Thank you kindly! Yes, Ebony has fast attack and us a bit brighter. But I still find this guitar to be surprisingly warm sounding, even with the original pups.

    I think if you had a rosewood neck instead of maple, on the tele and strat,you could get more mids and a slightly darker tone🎉.to me maple necks sound snappier and brighter tonality in the higher ranges and humbuckers are preferred over single coil pickups for playing jazz

    The Quilter is D circuit design and is Not solidstate. This circuitry is much more complex than A-B and doesn't fit in the standard classifications.

    In watching this video again it appears that you have transposed the original key of Am to the key of Gm. Am I correct and is there a reason i.e. is the arrangement easier to play in that key?

    I'd say it's in Dm. I don't know what "the original" key is in.

    @@GuitarversumSandraSherman Mines about the same, I bought it from a guy and had to do a bit of work on it just so I could play it. Had it now for about 10 years and it really is the nicest guitar I’ve owned and I’ve had a few. Great sustain and warm tone. Love it. ❤️

    There are some very good female jazz players out there. Sheryl Bailey, Mimi Fox, Emily Remler (gone too soon). But generally yes, there are so many female singees comoared to instrumentalists. Glad you up the number of female guitarists 😊.

    Oh, new video style? 🤩 Cool. Great lesson. I love finding new applications for extensions. That's a great point you made about the 'avoid' note but playing it in the lower register blends it.
