This is kinda weird tbh. If a white person did this we would see it as a joke.

Yeah, looks great, but there was a big old bug swimming around in the first pan, obviously something the chef was used to, and he nochanatly picked it up with his chopsticks and threw it away...don't fancy eating anything much that has the chance of a "whatever it was" in it, and it looked pretty big to me....and, at the end of the day, an omelette sandwich????? nah, too sloppy for me, i'm afraid......

I love watching videos similar to this one, but to be honest, This video was absolutely boring. There was nothing special about the eggat. All that nothing was added to it. There's so many things that could have been added to the egg mixture as it's going into the pan , what a very boring egg dish

I tried making one today. The best I could do was four layers with a wooden spatula, and I still had some brown spots and tearing in some places 😭. I didn't even think of throwing the pan to help fold it. What I notice is the chef lightly scrambled the first batch so it has some structure and won't fall apart when rolling it. I'll definitely try it out later with lower heat and more patience.

I'm amazed at the amount of egg used, when I try my hand at tamagoyaki, I usually use way less egg per "run", then again, it also takes me much longer.

This looks amazing, however I normally chuck a bit of onion, chilli and salami in mine. Saying that some simple foods cooked to perfection can be better than a complicated recipe.
Does he leave two rows of small bones behind still inside the meat cutting this way?

I wonder if scrambling them like that before the first roll makes them easier to roll. I've only started trying to learn how to make these (4 consecutive breakfasts) & I don't understand it yet.
