The Goal and Direction of this Channel is to go through the Manuals of some of my favorite and most used programs, to once and for all say we actually did read the manual. To try to uncover some of the hidden gems that are never gotten to because we never take the time, and just stay with the usual things we are comfortable with. And on the other hand to discover and point out the things that don't work or need improvement, to hopefully save some time instead of struggling with a feature that may not be working right in the first place.

Didn't know about the layering your way, nice tip, tnx!
Brilliant! Added so much more to my drum mix. Thanks.
Wow, and now we have a brave new world to explore in front of us
Very nice tips!
I like the layering aspect... I may have to use it to get punchier drums Thanks
hi Bill,, yes its one of those things,, I can spend a lot more time working harder on some basic sound with compression, eq, ect,,, and almost all the time if I just take the time to make a few interesting layers the result usually comes out better...
Fascinating, educational and hugely helpful. Cheers for sharing your knowledge. 👍🏻
thank you Denoneer,,, andrew
Excellent. I learnt a lot of short cuts today. That was a master class. Thank you 🎉
Hi. Mr. Blake. As usual this was a wonderful video and I have learn a lot today. I have a few questions about everything that you have done today. 1. How could you change the key of all of the drum part to the key of you project at one time before you did all of the work you did in this video. 2. After you have finished making all of the changes you want to make, how would you keep the new changes and get rid of the all of the things you edited and still keep the new sounds. I would not want to have all of these extra added tracks that you made just to get to the desired new sounds that you made. In other words I would not want to confuse myself with keeping all those extra tracks. I would just want to keep my new sounds & get rid of the added drum parts, so I could move on to making more music outside of the drums. I hope that I have explained myself well. I do wish continued success with all of your future video and I also wish you continued success financially as well. Have a wonderful day and thank you for sharing your knowledge with us beginners.
hi orrin,, thank you for your thoughts, I will have to take some time on all your questions,, all the best andrew
thanks a lot,amazing.
A master lesson. Really great job, as usual. Thank you so much.
another tip: there´s a separate "Mute" line in drum editor for each drum lane! Just drag the area to the right and you should see this near "Snap". and another tip 2: directly in the drum editor you can trigger independent several vstis by note! for example: C1 = Kick (Kontakt), D1 = Snare (Groove Agent), F#2 and G2 = Hi hats (Addictive Drums), A4 = Synth Percussions (Retrologue) etc. This is unique. It's also great that each lane can have its own quantization.
Great tip
thank you Byron, for sharing all your thoughts and tips,,, andrew
@@TheDigitalAudioManual Hi Andrew, maybe stuff for a second video "Drum Editor Tips Part II"? that would be wonderful!
excellent - as always! thank you.
Well, I finally find something that I have used enough to work with. And yet, you surprise me with some detail. As always, thank you very much for your time and your magnificent work. Greetings from Spain.
Great video. Only thing I would add is you can double click in the faded area on the wave form to select a fade curve. You do not have to use the "Audio" menu.
thank you official for sharing those tips,,, andrew
@@TheDigitalAudioManualYour channel is a great resource for all ❤
Do you offer 1 on 1 virtual sessions?
hi Macho,,, I have considered it,, if you want you can email me at [email protected] and let me know what you would like to learn from personal coaching and we can talk about it,,, all the best... andrew
I only realised recently how much more powerful the REVerence reverb is, so this video came right on time.
Brilliant! Didn't even know you could CTRL + right-click on a part. Great gems, AB... as usual. Thank you.
Amazing! Really deep.
Thank you for this video, wich Cubase is this? How old is this video? New to Cubase
hi cassandra,,, all my videos now are Cubase Pro 13,, but that short could apply to earlier versions as well,, any version that has Groove Agent Se in it andrew
Again, a very very helpfull video.
You are amazing! I thought I knew about controller lanes. Then I watched this video and realized I only knew a fraction! I don't know how you find all these lesser known aspects, but thank you!
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍
OMG what an amazing tutorial! Bravo 👏 Would be amazing to see a tutorial about routing! Both audio and midi. Please do such a tutorial 🙏 It’s very needed)
Really good 🙂
I was always puzzled by the duplication of editing MIDI CC and automation, thanks for the clarification.
Perfect timing Andrew, thanks. How can we know if an instrument responds to articulations and modulation?
Nice informative video Andrew 😎👍 I knew most of these but there's some hidden gems I didn't know for example, Auto Select Controllers... 😲😁That is being checked as I type! 😊 Andrew, you have a great, quick and to the point way of explaining and showing information.
I really appreciate these videos bro.. Amazing stuff 💪🏿🙏🏿
Well Done!!
Thanks for the video. Best/Mathias
This is my go to reverb. You just showed me a lot of things I didn't know. Thanks for doing this.
Excellent overview - - thank you very much! 🙂
Hey :) Cool video. Do you know if there is a way to input notes in the score editor using the midi keyboard instead of the mouse ?
hi Vitaly,, absolutely you can,,, there are little icons up on the top toolbar that activate both MIDI input and computer keyboard input. My guide in the description has steps for all of that,,, andrew
Steinberg seems to have thought of everything with the Reverence Reverb. Thanks for the video, great help!
There could hardly be a better video than this one to rapidly and thoroughly cover the features of Reverence. Totally invaluable. Thank you!
thank you Henry,,, I appreciate it,,, andrew
Fantastic analysis. You always learn something in your videos. Really good. Thank you very much as always.
thank you Federico,, as always,,, andrew,,,,
Thanks. Best/Mathias
How bind midi to tempo?
So much I've learned in this one video, considering I've been using various audio for at least 2 years now! Thanks, AB.
Great tips , thanks🤝
amazing... I forgot all about the smart controls....thx
There is not another video on YT, cubase or elsewhere that provides this level of explanation of key Cubase Features.
thanks ric,, thats quite the complement,,, I appreciate it,,, andrew
How long did the download/install process take you? On my PC (brand new, clean machine, Windows 11 and 32Gb RAM it's been running for over 6 hours and still nowhere near done. Also, Steinberg seem to have no support at all. The phone number they give is a recording which hangs up on you. Have you any experience with their support? Great video by the way
hi,, that seems extreme for the download. Your system seems like it should be up to the task,, how is your internet connection?,, have you tried at different times of the day?
Great Job
These details are the strength of this software. Thank you for sharing them with us. It's always a pleasure to follow you. Hello from France
Thank you so much for this tutorial!
It doesn't matter how much I've worked on a Cubase tool and how much I think I know about it. You always manage to surprise me and show me benefits that I didn't even imagine. Greetings from Spain and thank you very much.
Thanks very much for all info! Retrologue its a amazing Synth
Thanks for the video🤝
Does this give access to wavelab’s metering in Cubase…. I love that rainbow spectrum meter?
hi Musictron, this ARA version is a reflection of the Audio Editor,, so you do get some new analysis options that expand what you see in Cubase,, but the actual meters are not available.. to see those you have to actually be back in Wavelab.. andrew
