Hello, I have the exact ambitful snoot. I'm used the sutefoto rgb light with it but the light seems dim even when light power was on maximum. I also used the Ad600 with it, light was still dim. What could be the issue please?

I don't know what a Sutefoto is, but it sounds like a constant light. I also assume you are talking about the AD600 modeling lamp and not the flash. This might be a dumb question, but are you projecting in the dark or with the lights on, or worse during the day. You don't want to compete with ambient light when using such a low power light source. Also, this works when you're taking properly metered flash photos, right? If not, then I'd seriously worry.

I've heard good things about the Godox SA-17, but as you say, it's made for LED and not strobes. Depending on how much light you need, maybe you could mount a camera flash in it using a bowens bracket? It has a flat face like and LED unity, so it might work.

I suspect the filter ring was discontinued? You don't see them anymore in the sales photos, in fact, they go out of their way to show it with the gobo insert. I bought a second one and it doesn't have it either. Too bad, it looked convenient.@@charisphotography258

You can remove the lens on the PRO version. The standard (old version) in this review has a fixed lens. The PRO version also has an optional mount for Canon and Nikon lenses.

@@sjoerdknol Ambitful doesn't provide much info, but my guess is that it's the same lens is on both versions. The included lens is great for product shots or highlighting hair or tattoos on a model, etc. I have no idea how it performs with Canon or Nikon lenses, but if you own any, you could probably stick it in front of a flash and take a photo of the wall to get an idea of what kind of projection you'd get.

For the all the trouble Adobe Fuse doesn't seem worth it. As for the character being easily identified as a Mixamo Fuse character I think most people would understand that a lot of indie devs (especially solo devs) don't have the time and/or skills to make a decent character like a AAA game company can. With Mixamo FUse you can export the obj and use as a base mesh in blender, upload to mixamo for autorig and animations before or after, modify the mixamo autorig with non-deform bones in blender to fix unwanted stretching, reimport with modified armature back into mixamo then start downloading all your animations. Pretty easy workflow for a noobie game dev like myself

I made this video last year, but if I recall I went to File menu and Export. Make a folder (because the save has a LOT of associated files) Save it as an OBJ. Don't change any default settings. Then ZIP up everything it exported in to the folder. On the Mixamo site, there should be an option to upload the ZIP. Again, this is all a vague recollection. I don't use this software myself.

@@KellzKelechi There are other free options, all of which have a learning curve. Fuse is by far the easiest to use in my opinion. For cartoonish or semi-realistic cartoon, you can't beat VRoid. However, you'll need some 2D skills to draw textures. Although there is a huge market to buy things like eyes and clothes for free or a few bucks. By default it's anime style, but you can make semi-realistic characters with some effort. For more realistic characters, I really like MakeHuman or MB-Lab, though you'll need to learn how to design and make clothes for them yourself. I gave up using them because I couldn't make clothes easily. My 3D Blender skills aren't very good.

However, I have grown my hair out, and would like to create a character with realistic african american hair textures. what program would you recommend that's as easy to use as fuse? or somewhat easy and has the capability of being exported to mixamo for animation?

@@KellzKelechiIf you want "realistic" and easy you need to spend money. This is especially true if you want to use it for commercial purposes. There's a reason everyone still wants to use Fuse. If you don't mind spends a thousand or more, then Reallusion Character Creator is an option or even Daz3D.

I know what you mean. I love the new layering feature, but the user interface is awful and messy. I didn't notice the line color as I don't use it, but I understand your frustration. You'd think that would be an easy fix.

It is too bad that Adobe didn't just leave it as an unsupported app available for download. I was never a paid app, so it would have caused them no loss to have done so. They have done nothing to replace it in any way, so it is a shameful waste of a decent piece of software.

Yes, I agree. I chose not to use Fuse CC, but I understand everyone's frustration. Many other companies offer older Windows applications without support. I understand it doesn't work with MacOS anymore, but offering the older Windows version would generate a lot of goodwill.

You can still create characters with the software. If there were features that required the internet (server-side / cloud), then those are shut down, of course. I'm new to it, so I don't know what it was like to use before and after Adobe abandoned it.

Both are essentially the same program. Adobe Fuse CC adds some features over Mixamo Fuse. Try both. You don't have to pay - both are free.

Yes! This is the official release by Adobe. Adobe Fuse CC was a free software. They made it difficult for users to acquire and run it because they don't want to support it anymore.

Try to right click on 'download' and choose "Save Link As"? Try a different browser? Do you have any browser security extensions on that might interfere? Try turning it off. These are general guesses... it's hard to know exactly why it isn't working for you. Do you own a smart phone? If you have 4GB or more free, try downloading it that way. Worst case scenario, try using a friend's computer. If you don't have any friends, try a university, internet cafe, library.

To be clear, I'm hardly an expert - I haven't used Fuse after testing it in this video. It's my understanding that Mixamo Fuse doesn't export blendshapes natively. They were added after sending it to the Mixamo website for auto-rigging. While Adobe still has has the Mixamo site for rigging and animation, that level of integration with Fuse characters isn't available anymore. I think Adobe moved that feature to the Adobe Cloud, which rigged and added blendshapes and the ability to edit Fuse characters in Photoshop, but that feature is gone too. Again, this is just what I learned from my investigation of Fuse. I'm not a long time user, so if anybody reading this has first hand experience on how to get blendshapes exported from Fuse in 2021, do let us know.

Been looking for something like this or at least similar and adobe sadly stopped working on fuse so I was in a pinch, because I had a lot of things I wished to make but couldn't! Did you try to look for something similar to "Fuse" yet? I also find it sad that UE MetaHuman creator can only be used inside UE. For physics, do you know of software for that purpose (free would be great) or should I stick with the new blender? Thinking of doing a test and see if I can make a character make an ad for a product, animation can be made if not available but was wondering about physics while moving since I have no experience with that. Anyway I'm not that professional, I just love such things and willing to learn so i hope i didn't bother you ;) Again thanks, my friend!

However, you'll need some 2D skills to draw textures. Although there is a huge market to buy things like eyes and clothes for free or a few bucks. By default it's anime style, but you can make semi-realistic characters with some effort. For more realistic characters, I really like MakeHuman or MB-Lab, though you'll need to learn how to design and make clothes for them yourself. I gave up using them because I couldn't make clothes easily. My 3D Blender skills aren't very good.

However, I have grown my hair out, and would like to create a character with realistic african american hair textures. what program would you recommend that's as easy to use as fuse? or somewhat easy and has the capability of being exported to mixamo for animation?
@@KellzKelechiIf you want "realistic" and easy you need to spend money. This is especially true if you want to use it for commercial purposes. There's a reason everyone still wants to use Fuse. If you don't mind spends a thousand or more, then Reallusion Character Creator is an option or even Daz3D.

@@raphi9993 I believe I googled for the 2015 version combined with the name of the site and was able to find it. I'm not 100% sure that's what I did but I remember I had the same issue and was able to overcome it.

I know what you mean. I love the new layering feature, but the user interface is awful and messy. I didn't notice the line color as I don't use it, but I understand your frustration. You'd think that would be an easy fix.
It is too bad that Adobe didn't just leave it as an unsupported app available for download. I was never a paid app, so it would have caused them no loss to have done so. They have done nothing to replace it in any way, so it is a shameful waste of a decent piece of software.
Yes, I agree. I chose not to use Fuse CC, but I understand everyone's frustration. Many other companies offer older Windows applications without support. I understand it doesn't work with MacOS anymore, but offering the older Windows version would generate a lot of goodwill.

I don't understand what you're asking. Mixamo Fuse is installed through Steam.

Are you going to the Instagram site first? You need to go in to mobile mode BEFORE you visit the instagram website or the camera icon won't show up.

You can still create characters with the software. If there were features that required the internet (server-side / cloud), then those are shut down, of course. I'm new to it, so I don't know what it was like to use before and after Adobe abandoned it.

Both are essentially the same program. Adobe Fuse CC adds some features over Mixamo Fuse. Try both. You don't have to pay - both are free.

@@greenzombie1595 I followed the link, clicked the download button for PC and Mac for Fuse CC 2017 and it works. I don't know why you are getting that error from Adobe.
I have fixed the eyebrows and opacity issue. We need to plug the Alpha and set the opacity masks correctly.

Yes! This is the official release by Adobe. Adobe Fuse CC was a free software. They made it difficult for users to acquire and run it because they don't want to support it anymore.

Try to right click on 'download' and choose "Save Link As"? Try a different browser? Do you have any browser security extensions on that might interfere? Try turning it off. These are general guesses... it's hard to know exactly why it isn't working for you. Do you own a smart phone? If you have 4GB or more free, try downloading it that way. Worst case scenario, try using a friend's computer. If you don't have any friends, try a university, internet cafe, library.

Wonderful tutorial. However, I could not run Adobe Fuse CC. It not starts. Even if I run as administrator. It will be very useful a tutorial of how we can integrate textures with Mixamo. Maybe it will necessary use Blender.

Hello and thank you for this tutorial. Can the older Mixamo/fuse export with face blendshapes? Currently you can not with the latest fuse right?
To be clear, I'm hardly an expert - I haven't used Fuse after testing it in this video. It's my understanding that Mixamo Fuse doesn't export blendshapes natively. They were added after sending it to the Mixamo website for auto-rigging. While Adobe still has has the Mixamo site for rigging and animation, that level of integration with Fuse characters isn't available anymore. I think Adobe moved that feature to the Adobe Cloud, which rigged and added blendshapes and the ability to edit Fuse characters in Photoshop, but that feature is gone too. Again, this is just what I learned from my investigation of Fuse. I'm not a long time user, so if anybody reading this has first hand experience on how to get blendshapes exported from Fuse in 2021, do let us know.

Man, I'm thankful you can't imagine how much. God Bless you. Been looking for something like this or at least similar and adobe sadly stopped working on fuse so I was in a pinch, because I had a lot of things I wished to make but couldn't! Did you try to look for something similar to "Fuse" yet? I also find it sad that UE MetaHuman creator can only be used inside UE. For physics, do you know of software for that purpose (free would be great) or should I stick with the new blender? Thinking of doing a test and see if I can make a character make an ad for a product, animation can be made if not available but was wondering about physics while moving since I have no experience with that. Anyway I'm not that professional, I just love such things and willing to learn so i hope i didn't bother you ;) Again thanks, my friend!
