I tried this and somehow created a tesla coil???
I mean nothing about the range and all that, wtf do you think you are helping with? Of course in order to read the AC i'll switch the multimeter to ac and read ....mf
House outlets usually run 120V AC. Set you multimeter to one level up. Mine is 200V AC. The Air Conditioner, water heater, stove all run of of 240V AC. I set my multimeter to 300V AC to measure them. SUNSHINE
how about to show wich is the continuity test mode on the round clock-like scale of the multimeter ?!
I need to know what to do and what to expect. You seem to have a good / knowledgeable presence in your video but the presentation needs some work. It's a DIY crowd that is your main audience.
Very Good!... #5 {5-20-2024}
Continuity is not current regarding
Check your reading you didn't even tell anybody what to put the dial on with the set the multimeter on
Yeah a 30 second video for one of the more dangerous things you can do with a multimeter. Brilliant.
Yeah pointless
Its pretty self explanatory, if u wanna measure amps u should probably set the multimeter to amps😂
I thought you are suppose to stick black lead to larger line (the neutral line) and the red lead on the smaller line (the live or hot line) of a wall/plug. Or it does not matter which lead I put on the wall outlet?
Yes, alternating current (AC) does not have a fixed polarity in the same way that direct current (DC) does.
@@AbhrasnataRay if it were DC, would it not just have the same reading but negative, if you had them flipped?
@@Braeden.F absolutely correct!
It might be the best way
Интересный замок.. А у нас такого нет.
Absolutely the best. I've been buying Securitron mags for 15+ years and have never had a problem with them making good on that warranty.

*This has been a real time saver when guests are leaving my property has worked every time so far.>>>**t.co/I0fdanPRHl** No complaints.?*
I like the "BIG-Ness" of this one, I have 2 x 12ft iron gates, both are huge - I have the dual swing-arm with solar Lift-Master **412**** kit,, Added a 800LB mag-lock on a 24v dedicated feed for the mag-lock - Only issue I have run into was the power went off, and the dogs found the gap.. Wanted to see if this would allow it to work with my controller, I know I have the settings to allow a solenoid type, just wanted to see if it was fast enough - the gates send a signal now, and are delayed by about a second then begin, I am sure the controller has a setting but, if its not gonna work, I'd have less need for it... Thoughts? Thanks, T,
These are the most terrible maglocks I have ever used. So fragile, the REX almost never works correctly with any access control system, it cant be easily adjusted, it's just terrible.

Can this lock be integrated with a biometric door phone system?
+Abhijith Mallur - The GL1 can be integrated with most biometric door phone systems assuming the system either provides 12 or 24V to the lock upon presentation of an approved credential, or has a relay that can be used to supply 12/24V. Please feel free to contact our technical support team ([email protected]) with your exact model number and we can create a free wiring diagram for your system.
+SecuritronAccess Thank you so much!
Hmmm. Magnacare warranty, no questions asked. Let's ask about the Magnacare warranty and how it was applied to the Securitron SABEL lock. The SABEL was a $500+ keyless electronic lock. My experience with it and the 50 or so units that I put into the field was a failure rate over 35%. This was not exclusive to me, and the SABEL lock was discontinued. Now how does ASSA Abloy handle that warranty?? They don't. You are stuck with the junk they made and sold. No coverage. Hmmm. The good old fine print by the big corporation strikes again. Don't trust them.
+Whitetail Lock Don Don, we are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with the Securitron Magnalock no-questions-asked lifetime warranty. It is true that over time some products are discontinued and removed from the factory - in these cases we do everything we can to provide a replacement with a “like” product. In the case of the SABL lock that was discontinued in 2010 and supported for several years thereafter, continued replacement with “like” product is not possible as we do not offer anything comparable nor that fits its form factor. The full MagnaCare Warranty does outline our complete replacement policy for active as well as discontinued products: www.securitron.com/en/site/securitron/about/warranties/ I understand that our Technical Support Team spoke with your staff regarding your situation a few months ago. If you would like to discuss alternative solutions using different product, please contact the Securitron Sr. Product Manager, David Corbin at 623-585-4626.
+SecuritronAccess You provided a non working number? Why?
+Whitetail Lock Don I apologize for the typo. His direct line is: 623-582-4626, ext. 7171
+SecuritronAccess Left a message over a week ago. Also one for Russel Anderson who I spoke to in person and had promised to take care of this 5 months ago. No one called back. ???
+Whitetail Lock Don We'll make sure the appropriate people follow-up with you right away.
I like the product, my only point is that we have spent years getting architects to let us put the RX in the handle...
Excellent video...brief but effective visual of product, features and benefits great job!
