  Absolutely But you will have to take the cozushuttle or flex if you are leaving from the airport (you can take the sedan which is private) it will be pricey - our you can walk to the area by Diego’s and get a normal taxi As no “taxis” as you know it leave from the cozumel airport Please review this video How Transportation is in Cozumel Airport kzread.info/dash/bejne/hJeXpsmCYLXcnZc.html

  Don’t book in advance though there is no advantage to you They will always always be there and even if it’s as short of a distance to the passenger ferry all still applies - Flex shuttle cozushuttle are the main two and then a bag drag to Diego’s tacos for the simple red and white taxis

  It’s actually not something I recommend from the airport but you can meet the car rental of emily or Darth at Diego’s for taxi pick up Once your got the car go ahead and find your other party in the parking lot waiting for you Or they will bring to you at your place of stay and get a shuttle or taxi as described To drop off you can do the same Drop off your parties at the airport then meet the car rental at Diego’s and walk back about 2 long city blocks Also security is now at the door so technically no one can enter the airport other than the passengers Although they dont really know More of a deterrent 😊

  Happy to help and no where to really kid however we do have sargasso on the wild side right now There is live music at senor iguanas on Saturday the big fishing tourney here this weekend Watch the weigh in at the passenger ferry pier about 4.30-6 pm Saturday they send off early and a great beach club on Sunday is islands beach club 200 pesos to get in applies to food and drink zip lines cheaper and live music at 2.30 there Just pm me and watch my google maps CindyCozumeleats for inexpensive but local places Here to help

  Sorry yes you can get the rental cars like always at Diego’s tacos Then go back and pick up some at the airport in the parking lot but they don’t drop onto the airport parking lot They meet you at Diego’s the rental cars that pay rent inside the airport can do that but not the others
