Bringing my imagination to life through polymer clay!
Heya! My name is Rachel and I'm the artist behind "Clay or Die". I'm an introverted artist that is just trying to find her voice through sculpting. I created this channel to not only help me break out of my shell, but to help anyone along the way that may be just discovering the magic that is polymer clay.

Do you have to have the white and what temperature to you bake the clay and how long?
Can I use oil pastel?
I love it💜
mine is plane
I have a question please, isn't using acrylic paint a little bit dangerous? I mean later on doesn't it dry even while shaping it even before using the oven? And even after doesn't it have some cracks in it ?
Will this work with mason jars?
Will this work with mason jars?
AWESOME
I am in love with this. Makes me want to try doing one 😊
Stunning
btw, after using pastels or crayons on your clay do you varnish your sculptures?
Can I use china ink? But mix with alcohol? Planning on tinting a smaller piece just for the accessories of the doll i plan on making for my project.
Them! Thank you!
Thank you!! This will save me so much $$$ on sprinkles
That is absolutely wonderful. And you left a gap so their lips don't touch the epoxy, even better!
Thank you so much it was so informative
I love this guy! You did a great job 😊

Hi
Hello! 👋🥰
Thank you so much for this! Your channel is amazing! I'd love more tutorials on how to make miniature fruits or cookies, etc.. Obviously, if it's a popular request because I know how much work would go into these tutorials :)
Great video. Thanks. 👍🙂 My only criticism is that you probably really only needed two drops of the alcohol ink because the rest was just wasted on your gloves! If people used these things SPARINGLY the World would be a much better place!
As I have worked with polymer clay I know how much work this was to make. You did an amazing job. Thank you for this video.
TYVM. Great tips. Thank you for sharing
Great Video. TYVM
Can I use resin pigments?
@TheCreativeSiren, what kind of epoxy should I use
There are plenty of options out there, but if you're in a pinch, Michaels has a great one you can grab on the fly, too. 💜
So beautiful
This is truly useful thanks a lot for the effort ❤
I don't understand why you baked the initial house when it was made out of a cardboard box, but then didn't bake any of the rest of the house. does it just get hard on its own?
She mentions that she baked it several times throughout the process to keep delicate areas from messing up. The first bake is so the clay on the cardboard hardens and makes it easier to work with. None of this gets hard on its own because polymer clay requires baking to harden. Only air dry clay will harden on its own. Hope that helps.
Thank you! Can you use food colouring?
This is amazing
Have you tried painting the acrylic paint onto a flattened piece of the clay and letting it dry, then knead it into the clay? Just a thought, I haven't tried it yet, but it makes sense.
Also, I just got 4 colors of chameleon color shifting acrylics I can't wait to try it with!
Hey did the acrylics work out?? I'm a beginner and an update will help me a lot. Thanks
Wonderful video! SO MUCH GOOD INFO!!!!
Each time you’re baking it in the oven, how long are you baking it for? The polymer clay I usually use is a 30 minute bake so are you only part baking (say 10 minutes) each time or are you baking for the full time? Thank you.
I bake for the full time each time. You can bake and remake polymer clay as many times as you need to without it negatively affecting it. 💜
Oh wow I love it!
Thank you 💜
I wonder if you just put the paint on top of the clay and let it dry before neading it, so the water evaporated; could you use it right away????
It would probably take a lot longer to get to the desired color that way of at all. But give it a go. I'd be interested to hear what you discover. 💜
how do you make your clay look so smooth? Attempting to make this. Thank you
