  I'm from Minnesota When we go up north We really mean go to the cabin or go to the lake it can be actually due west or south but the idea is get away to place you love i mean every other person has a lake place or a cabin in the woods

  I'm from the iron range in MN. But now live near the ND border.You have to go up to Giants Ridge. Not only do they have skiing, and miles of cross-country skiing. They have 2 golf courses, a disc golf course that goes up and down the ski hills. They recently put in a Mt bike course, which is very challenging. You can also take the chair lifts up to the top and go basically anywhere you want on bikes.

  Yes, it’s not always on time so you may need to wait. I would definitely recommend transport up and hiking down, ha!

  Voldendam used to be quaint and very quiet, but like in all things, it too has become a tourist trap with kitchy souvenier shops and the promenade becoming a "strip" of all things that doesn't reflect the actual town any longer.

  It was a trading hub to the west and east. A place to stop on your journey from where ever you came across the lands as a indigenous far before whites ruined the land. Trading goods suchs as shells, beads, flint/obsidian arrowheads, meat, ect, ect. Shells you could crush down, mix with mud and make a basic cement. Beads cause women love beads. Flint to make fire, flint to make arrowheads. Obsidian to make arrowheads/ spears and sacrifices. It all makes sense once you think about it Ive climbed that hill munks mound barefoot from the backside.
