Once you put set your brass embossing plate under the heat plate, you need to bring the handle down so that your brass plate touches the bottom. Then you have to adjust each spring. I used a caliper to make sure the heat plate is exactly the same at each spring. Once you’ve done this you will get even stamping all around the heat plate. Good luck!

I use painter tape to mask it before engraving. Also, are you planning on using rotary attachment . I have one on mine that I use most often. Roller type is useless. I use Chuck type with supports for heavy objects.

Easiest thing I’ve found is to buy a monogram set on Etsy for the letters and then place the name in the middle. I upgraded the air assist and chiller! Thanks for watching and your question.

I tried going to your Shopify store but it is closed? Also what laser are you using? Got all excited about using microfiber to press with until you mentioned it causing marks in the leatherette. Same thing happens with Teflon sheets. As you said - use silicon sheets.
