I remember when I was a teenager and had no clue about many things. I also remember wasting hundreds of thousands of dollars buying non cat equipment when I started my business. I've been only cat since 2007 and will never buy any other brand for the rest of my life. And that's because of true experience.

If that’s a boss which it looks like it is then you need to adjust the blade pitch or get the back drag blade they sell because it doesn’t back drag for sh!t! What a waste of time and gas. That’s a fresh snow fall and not slushy your back drags should be clearing that down to concrete.

Be prepared to take the engine out to service the DPF at 3000 hours, you may consider a rebuild since you have to remove the engine and save on labor…

I would like to know what makes you a expert on skid steers and as far as cat is concerned they are one of the largest suppliers to large contractors that have large numbers of equipment. So if it is good enough for them it should be good for everyone else.

I finally stopped wasting my life watching this and shut it off at just past 7 minutes. Do everyone a favor and cut off the first completley worthless, irrelevant first four minutes that have nothing to do with the truck and just blares a lot of obnoxious "music". This is supposed to be about the 6.7 l Powesrstroke. so far nothing at all about, just blabbering about looks and added on stuff like lift kit and fender liners and crap like that. How well does the engine run? does it have good power? is it reliable? do you have to use that DEF stuff with it? what transmission and rear end does it have, how do they perform? what is it like to drive, what kind of fuel consumption does it use?

You're young so you probably haven't had much experience yet... ASV's are not Junk. When you say that Cat bought them for the track and the rest is junk, well that's a silly statement. Cat did buy a portion of them, so did Terex (licensing agreement for Terex). Cat bought part of them to get access to the track system, and ASV got access to Cat's controls for their machines. ASV has bought most of their company back and are running strong again. (I've owned/run Track machines from Cat, ASV, Tak, Kubota, Bobcat... and other equip from Massey, JD, Komatsu, etc). Currently have Cat 239 & 249 machines because dealer support here is excellent. The ASV machines are much more balanced and much better ground clearance. They excel in soft conditions and 'off-road'. Their biggest weakness is dealer support (lack of), and their cabs are some of the worst on the market. Not trying to dig on you here... just cleaning up your statement a bit.

I think to convert square feet to cubic yards you divide by 27 NOT 37 as you said twice in your video. You said multiply by 37

I have a 2022 case 340b, it's pretty loud inside, cat got 2 new ones coming, a 255 and 265, totally different, 265 replaces 289, I'm going to look at one. You can lock out that suspension.

A idea for sidewalk is take a old belt drive walk behind take the deck off put a atv sprayer and a 12v pump then run it 3/4 pvc wand with caps on both ends and holes drilled into send the spray the pumps are cheap at harbor freight could be built for under 500 not including old belt drive walkbehind or a hydro mower

I have a kage plow and am very impressed with the durability. I have been stuck several times and had to discard the sides and use the cornerner of the plow to push myself out then retrieve the sides using a chain. No damage. I honestly like the hydraulic sides but from my experience with wideout truck plows if you take a hard hit (corner of a curb) they are never the same. Torsion down pressure is far better than anything possible with float option. You are well spoken and knowledgeable without the hype and background music. Thank you for the video.

If you add counterweights it'll make a world of difference. Will move pallets easier and will feel more balanced when grading. They are pretty low cost but it'll mess up your wrap advertising. If you add 2 sets youll love the change in performance.

Also for the resonating issue next time you bring it in to the dealer talk ti Zeigler- there is a service letter on that- known issue and cat should cover the repair. They may not have had it when you bought it but have one now.
