I was naive about hospice in general or just too trusting also in general, but not anymore. I have a loved one who has Alzheimer's and was recovering from a surgery procedure and needed help to take care of my loved one until my loved one healed. During the last eight months we have went through three hospices. Only one was fair and one kept scaring my loved one that she was dying against my wishes to do this and one is the most twisted of all. Let's just leave that at that.

Not at bassett research hospital in cooperstown ny, their dogs are hyper, whining and lunging everywhere and forget it if you have a service dog it makes it impossible to not get upset while their dog is outside your exam room, i dont pay for that, its harrassment, lacks privacy and goes against the patients rights and service dog protection. It breaks the law, its just wrong.

Troubling….worse is yet to come with this setup. The ratio of 1:12 is what is ADA compliant pitch for a ramp. Why wasn’t a ramp installed in the first place? Never will understand why steps are used when a ramp would be easier for people, pets, and for loading. Ease of use…..get wide no -slip safety tape. Jury rigging is not the answer, but as a team, we can do better with DIY solutions. Three pieces of plywood, joined together and to the deck with carriage bolts. Ready made concrete support for under the wood. Use colorful dollar store pool noodles on the seams. Now a handrail. The reason why things are not built better, the people are not aware…doing it right is better, faster, cheaper. We can find it on the web, print to have it available to brainstorm with others. Know the basics of ADA height and width. Every ten feet needs a landing, the requirements are logical. This woman needs a playground barrel tunnel, send the crutches down first! Having an attendant wouldn’t much help, both people could go flying. A fall can be fatal. Joe Lieberman most recent. Look up Tubberville falling down stairs leaving the plane. Good that you posted. It's something to think about and a fall to action……call…..call to action.

how does landing in seated position not engaging the quad muscles? it was engaging the quad bcoz when we down our butt is hinging like squat position. so in order to be seated position the quad engaged to stabilise a 45 degree angle. Usually injuries on knee acl mostly occur when we landed like rotating the quad in valgus or varus movement with planted foot on the ground.

My insurance dictates both primary care clinic and doctor. I'm on an HMO so don't have many options. I I recently had to switch due to cost levels. I've only been there one time but I hate both the clinic and the primary care doctor I was forced into taking after that initial visit. It's crap with your insurance company dictating your care.

I wished I could found an Specialist who explains so clearly like Dr Antillon has done . I was told I had Erosion Esophagus 4 years ago, I wonder if I still have it ? One of my EGD 8/2023 said, Esophagus was normal except for a small hiatal hernia . Does that mean, I no longer have Erosion on my Esophagus? Or does the Acid Reflux , splashes acid on the esophagus??????? Thank you . I am being as Proactive and yes I avoid everything the doctor mentioned. in this video.

good luck getting your doctor to even test for it. Especially if you have Kaiser insurance. Kaier sucks imo. I;ve had pain and swelling in my feet and ankles for months. Finally, after six months, they've scheduled me for the test. But, the first available appointment is in march. IFyou have Kaiser, SWITCH insurance.

I have had the immense privilege of having worked in the operating room with Dr. Chapman during many traumas and routine surgeries. He is the most amazing surgeon, always keeping a calm, cool demeanor, no matter what is happening around him. He quietly commands complete control of whatever chaotic situation is thrown at him. I have seen him save the lives of several patients over the years who surely would not have lived without his skilled hands. Dr. Chapman is truly a gift to the Grand Rapids community. He is incredibly humble, and a beautiful human being. May the good Lord bless him with a long, happy life!

I have met my share of orthopedic surgeons who are denser than a box of rocks. How is it so many people in the orthopedic community can justify telling a patient to their face there’s no such thing as a metal allergy with regard to implants? This bias is held by 90% of orthopedic surgeons I have ever spoken to and in polling patients I find that it is a global problem. Not only does THE BLEEDING EDGE documentary highlight a case of cobalt poisoning in an orthopedic surgeon who had a hip replacement, But the national Institute of health has dozens of reports of patients suffering from allergic reactions or sensitivities, not only to the heavy metals in medical devices, but to the poly resin segments that are used. 15% of our patients having an orthopedic implant report suffering from this condition WHICH is backed up by the MELISA and PEEK test. Yet surgeon after surgeon after surgeon after surgeon will deny to a patient’s face these conditions even exist let alone that their patients are suffering from them. Your profession is called a practice, for a very good reason how is it that you can hold such absolute belief systems, contrary to empirical evidence, allowing your patients to suffer for years sometimes decades. It’s almost as if you can tell your patients that headaches don’t exist because they can’t be measured. WTF!?!? Y’all need to clean house and stop torturing your patients!!
