  Beautiful XR6 I had a Cortina in that colour bought brand new in 1982.This one needs centre caps and trim rings for its wheels,or else perfection

  That is true mechanic way. If you set thousands, you figure out a simple way with spark plugs out..., start one side, finish other side on a straight or one bank on a v then do other bank. Forget complicated firing sequence. Turn motor on crank bolt clockwise until exh valve is just starting to open, then adjust INTAKE on that cyl(lifter /pushrod is on the back of cam)opposite lobe ramp wherever cam or cams are, same for any 4 stroke. After you adjust intake, rotate until intake valve on same cylinder opens fully and closes 3/4 . Now ADJUST EXHAUST . Repeat on next cyl...and do on. Easy peasy bra😁👍

  Great content man! Any advice on what I can do besides tuning my carb, my one is over fuelling, it runs fine with a new set of plugs, it is very responsive but when you drive it hard, it starts missing the next time u start it up again, it is a spin car so it is driven quiet hard at times, plugs are usually black and wet, Thanks !

  That's one bad arse cortina sounds wicked my dad had a 2.3 manual one in the late 80s was light weight because of the rot 😂🤣 love to have one to restore but any thing ford is silly money i had fiestas and escorts and uncle had a couple of 2.8 capris

  We got a 2 litre pinto and the 4.1 250 crossflow straight 6 in Australia..best car for rallying on the gravel growing up, wagons handled better with a longer wheelbase a d you could drift one like a boss

  Sometimes the wheel arches give off 70s American Ford Maverick vibes, other times they give off 1968 - 69 American Ford Fairlane/Torino vibes. The grill gives off 60s Mercury Monterey/Montclair/Marquis vibes.

  3lt Essex v6 is the best sounding motor ever produced in the world. Sounds way better than a V8 if the exhaust is done right. Looks like there is no exhaust connected on this one yet...............but that idling still sounds great. You have to hear it in person to know.

  First thing is to cover up the intake not to drop something into it ! Simply devide the crank pulley in to three marks 120° appart. Start on the tdc mark with number one on compression then simply follow the fireing order ! Every next mark is the next number of the fireing order ! Louw from PRO - MECH ! My personal patent !!
