I think most bus users in Reading would just love to escape and get a Reading Bus to Bournemouth! Reading Buses may be missing a trick here, why not test the water by running a bus down to Bournemouth on Saturdays during next summer (like the X8 bus does to the Lake District) donating the profits to Reading Buses chosen charity and whilst raising money for a good cause, test out whether it could be commercially viable or not? XCountry trains are overcrowded, late and usually a pain so I think it could be worth trying. 🙂
Seems like jorney at dray. Horrible sound. I wouldn't take this jorney in real. After 7 minutes even before leaving London switching off. Unbelieveble. I had many trips by bus but every of it was as you drive on feather bed, smooth and quiet.
Didn't see the price of the trip....I am thining of trying the Edinburgh to London at some point (hopefully)...But this still entails getting to Edinburgh first.
I took this trip during the Easter sale this April, so the ticket only cost £2 + seat reservation & booking fee. The cheapest standard price is usually around £13-20 for a London - Scotland trip.
@@xd_transportation731 Thanks for the reply.
Hello Xtra Daft! 😉. (Don't worry I give all the bus KZread channels nicknames 😜) Super Yum Yum Yum! Thanks for this! I shall enjoy this later! ☺️ Seriously I enjoy your videos - Thank you!
That Reading Buses Logo Is Missing On The 679 How Strange😲
I think the logo has been added recently, obviously this video was a long time ago
Why to meet zombie place 🤯👿
Thank you 🙏 so much for the video im a big fan on the superloop i have a FB group
Great video would love to see it done from Glasgow to London
5:24:10 love the kid slipping chasing his ball
I'd rather take train
I’m curious, have you ever read a book on a Reading bus? And, do you think Reading Bus should put bookshelves onboard their buses, thereby turning them into true Reading buses?
What editing software and device do you use
45:05 - good observation by the driver.
I find it very pleasurable to watch this - relaxing, even. The countryside is beautiful and the various shades of green quite deeper and brighter than I'm used to (Australia, on the east coast.) One thing seems odd and that is not seeing any B-Double semi-trailers. They are so common here on the highways and seeing just conventional semis in this video is quite different. Are they not permitted in the UK/Europe?
Makes me feel homesick. (I'm in Vancouver, WA, USA.)
This is the real bus simulator Love it !
Great video, the girls will like you one of these days
At 5:24:14 what are the kids doing at the corner? 😮
Quando farai uno da Manduria a Torino?
7:10 m4 and m1 do be competing with each other
Preston is obviously one of the UK'S newest cities, but it's also a very good example that a city doesn't really have to be the size of Manchester, Glasgow or Birmingham there are some smaller cities well worth visiting.
Like this comment if u watched the full 9 hours
I hope no one would spend 9 hours just to watch this video 😂
Like this comment if you're just whoring for likes.
did it stop at service between london to manchester
Burghfield Common is so nice
Horrible sound. Thumbs down :(
In the 1960s the London Glasgow bus route was all the way up the A1 to Scotch Corner then A66 to Penrith and then A6 and A74 to Glasgow. Took 12 hours overnight, 8pm to 8am. Coaches were Western SMT, very smart white and black, reading lights, reclining seats, on board toilet, and you could SMOKE!

Awesome vid how come you stopped at the retail park in Carlisle? Boot someone off?
Dropping a staff off from what I saw
I have noticed that there seems to be a few of these unusual junctions popping up at various places around the country. Like Jct 19 of M6 Northbound. Where, previously it had been a very normal but large conventional roundabout and what they have done is to basically drive the road right through the centre of the roundabout - which when you are not really used to seeing them looks very weird, but when you think about it 80-90% of the traffic when it came to the top of that slip road would have then gone round the road to the right. Of course, there's still a filter lane for anyone else who perhaps needs to take the road to the left. But it helps the flow of the traffic heading towards in this case Manchester International Airport. Obviously there will be a lot of cases where this sort of idea is just not feasible or really necessary but in situations such as this is does actually help - so well done to the person who thought up this.
Support You 😘😘
Amazing video!! Love the effort you went to for recording and editing all of this! 👏
Coaches are NOT allowed in lane 3 of the motorway. He goes into it numerous times & to save, what? 10 seconds, if that? Bad bit of driving there.
Great nine hours and twenty two minutes drive. Really enjoyed this trip. Look forward to more such similar kind of videos in the near future. Thanks for sharing 😉😉😉
The traffic is unnervingly slow
Typical in Central London during daytime !
@@xd_transportation731 I had the impression that the flow can be improved by using intelligent traffic light management systems. I'm not sure if that's commonly used in the UK/in Londinium, as It's much more expensive... If someone knows..?
Very nice video my friend 👍
My bus home!
Love the *Drive on the Left* signs at Abington, many hours from any port...
David, Scottish routes are notorious for fatals involving foreign tourists on the wrong side.
Waow! I am so blown away by the roads, so perfect. Thank for The raid
How much evidence of bad/illegal driving do we need?
This youse to be an ex West Bromwich 74 Bus right
Wonderful and a polite driver wish our drivers were like this some of them have a job to smile let alone be polite
Lots of drivers don’t have any passsion in bus driving and some drivers just are moody which is very sad and I agree with you this driver is friendly.
Engine sound is almost suppressed, which is a pity
Is there a reason for middle lane hogging out of London?
Bad drivers! Plenty of them around. 🙂
Its a pity that Stagecoach Megabus are still using the 69-reg on this route - not that there's anything particularly wrong with them. It's just that Megabus and Scottish Citylink have begun using the new Volvo 9700 DD on some of their other routes (brand new 24-reg). It would have been nice to have experienced that on a journey such as this. However that's just the way the cookie crumbles, nobody's fault really.😉 If you think that you would like to take a trip on one of the new Volvos i believe that they are serving the Glasgow to Inverness route.
This one was filmed in early April this year, literally a few days before the brand new Volvo 9700DDs introduced on M11, M20... I have already done M20 to Glasgow with the brand new one last month. The video should be available within this year, along with other coach journey recordings!
Are buses/coaches limited to 100 kph maximum speed (60 mph)? Plenty of vehicles faster than the coach. What is the speed limit on the motorways?
The national speed limit is 70mph as default. Coaches are usually limited to 62mph/100kph
@@xd_transportation731 Again, many thanks. I'm an Aussie so am unfamiliar with your speed restrictions.
Wow the rattling noise off this heap is shocking! Great sights with the sound off mind you 👍
Thank you 🎉a great ride. Paul in Kent lovely country side past Epsom race course.

Nice journey london to Glasgow good job
one thing I'll never understand about the UK, never did in ETS2 either. What's up with the traffic lights in roundabouts? That's the whole point of roundabouts, you don't need lights. 1:05:00 was there some car meet nearby? All those Miatas, a TVR and more
Traffic lights on roundabouts has a few reasons. Firstly, in some areas, without traffic lights, some cars would just never get onto the roundabout so traffic lights give a chance for cars on more minor roads to get onto the roundabout. Combined with that is that sometimes this only happens at very busy peak times but the UK is backwards and many councils point blank refuse to have part time traffic lights. You go through most towns and cities at night and you don't need traffic lights but they still shine bright, needlessly holding people up when they aren't needed. In short, lack of political will to only have traffic lights at times when there is actually a need for them. Secondly, Sometimes it is done for pedestrian crossings. In some cases a single crossing on one arm of the roundabout means the whole thing needs traffic lights else it risks huge queues and essentially blocking the roundabout.
