Good video but i don't consider meet kevin a get rich fast channel, it's more like a financial news channel with sponsors. And the graham's show usually just give basic general economic advice, it's a little click bait with the titles but that's how you learn the boring stuff.

I'm fairly new to all of this, but 3% return seems too conservative for passively managed accounts. I haven't seen anyone use anything lower than 5% and most are calling 6-7% a safe assumption after inflation. Why did you use that rate? Also, considering that most people today aren't retiring with even $140k, I don't think its worth just shrugging off as something to help with retirement. I agree that we shouldn't remove all simple pleasures from our budget, but if you're paying $5 a day for coffee you can make at home for $0.5, it might be worth it to someone to cut back to buying coffee out less often at least.

Companies don't respect employees and they treat them as disposable replaceable capital and will tell you straight to your face it's profit over people. And employers never show their appreciation for productivity or when you make the company money or when you go above and beyond they just use it to take advantage of you and you keep working and getting them more money and missing out on your own life hoping it'll pay off one day and it never does and people are waking up to it. How we work in America is way screwed up You shouldn't have to go to a specific place from 9:00 to 5:00 every day or risk losing your house and home and we don't get enough vacation time or sick time and even then your boss is like oh come on take one for the team we need you to come in today it's just as hustle hustle hustle culture but we're not getting anything in return. It's like we're having our good work ethic and American values used against us

Job security so if I'm a good boy I get to be chained to this particular desk for the rest of my life and don't have to find another desk to chain myself too. And maybe after 20 years of faithful dedicated employment the company will give me a balloon and an ink pen to show their appreciation

Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown. its important to seek the guidance of an expert

It's true that many people underestimate the importance of advisers until their own feelings burn them out. A few summers ago, following an ongoing divorce, I needed a significant push to keep my company afloat. I looked for licensed advisors and found someone with outstanding qualifications. She has contributed to my reserve increasing from $275k to $850k regardless of inflation.
