Nice work guys
Great looking tiny house! We have the same unique stove and yes the oven is a pain to light!
I have two Camplux on demand water heaters for the last 4 years at my office grid cabin and they have held up very well nothing like your experiencing
Just curious, do you use them full time?
Yes we’re full time off grid in NW Wisconsin
We have a Unique gas stove and a refrigerator. We live in the Rocky Mountains so high altitude, and we have had trouble off and on keeping the oven lit. It will light right away, but the pilot will go out after awhile. Other than that love the stove. You can buy appliance paint in a little bottle, probably 2 ounces. They have it at hardware store, and if your stove is white, you can just touch that spot up. I have even used it on my old sink.
I have quite a few on our property in the UP. I transplanted some in my back yard downstate. This year they finally blossomed. When the seeds are mature, I am going to attempt to sprout and grow more. You may have some success transplanting a larger clutch and plant in well composted hole with some hardwood chips and a bit of organic all purpose fertilizer.
I am curious why you installed the tongue and groove from the top?
If you don’t want to have to trim around the ceiling this is the way to go. I do both ways depending on the project. Thanks for watching! 😊
YES, THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT, AND NEED, Y'ALL DID A GREAT JOB , THANK YOU FROM KY.
We have certainly enjoyed it! Thank you for watching! 😊
I have harvested these, delicious. Is the season for foraging many plants ❤
It certainly is. We love foraging season. Thanks for watching! 😊
Very cool ! Nice work and congrats on your little cabin !
Thank you and thanks for watching! 😊
Love this! Have often thought a unit as you've built would be an excellent investment on an off-the beaten-path piece of property. Genius!!
Thank you! And thanks for watching. 😊
Really enjoyed y'all's video , awesome surprise at the end with the cellar
Thank you and thanks for watching! 😊
Finally a neat one with storm refuge!
We haven’t had to use it for that yet but glad it’s there for when we need it. Thanks for watching! 😊
Very Nice Work Barb......I'll Have to look Around Next Year for them while Morel hunting. Thanks for the Video
Once you find some you’ll be hooked. Thanks for watching! 😊
How do you can if it’s a dry house??
This is just a guest house/spare bedroom cabin for family and friends when they visit. Our main house is just a short walk away but is too small for guests. We run our well on our solar system. Thanks for watching.
The ramps look like lily of the valley. They look like spring onions in arkansas. They grow everywhere. Thank you
You’re welcome and thanks for watching. 😊
How laughable that these two are living like this full time ,when Indian immigrants are living twice three times better than this without even paying into the economy, don’t try to look like heroes or white people who are hard done by .🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👌🏼
I absolutely love what you two have created, video included. ❤🇨🇦
Thank you and thanks for watching. 😊
Loved the patriotic ending (words of wisdom from Ronald Reagan). I have to confess, I knew NOTHING about wild leaks (ramps) before watching this video. I have heard of leak soup, but I've never had it. I'd like to see how it's made someday, if that's on your 'list' for a new kitchen video 🙂 I think I'd like leak soup because I LOVE onions and garlic separately. Thanks for sharing. Always enjoy coming to you guys page. God bless
I wanted something fitting for this Memorial Day weekend. I always enjoy your positive comments. 😊

Many of us have probably walked right past ramps not knowing what we were missing. Thanks for the education in the beautiful woods.
I had never heard of them until a few years ago. They are delicious. 😊
Next spring, I’d like to get up there a little earlier and look for the ramps, wild leaks. They do make an excellent potato potato soup. There’s nothing quite like the peaceful songs of the birds while walking through the woods.
Hello there I use to live in Jackson mi but now im in southwest michigan i had a hot spot in Jackson for ramp but here in sw mi i can't find any thing like i use to any way love the video's thanks and God bless
It’s the same for us with Morels. We haven’t found a single one up here! Thanks for watching. 😊
They say it's a good year for them i found about 20 Morels but that's better then last year i got three
Ahhh, peace and quiet❤️
I just bought 8 acres in Pinal Valley Arizona (in between Phoenix and Tucson) and I'm building a 16x26 (416 Sq Feet) cabin that started out as a car and a half garage from my house in Missouri that I took apart at the 4 corners and loaded the walls and the metal roof in the moving truck when I moved. So I have to just build the base and add 2 feet to sides and put it back together, rewire it, insulate it and put the interior walls in, My kitchen is going to be where the garage door was, I'm just going to bump that part out 3 feet put in a small window and that's where my kitchen counter and cabinets will go, I don't need a HUGE kitchen because it's just my Girlfriend and I but I want the room because were going to live there full time. Were also saving room by not having a traditional oven/range, we decided on that because we all but stopped using our stove 5 years ago when we got our 9 function Air Fryer because although not huge between the Air Fryer, Microwave, Crock Pot and Pressure Cooker there's nothing we can't cook and an oven/range just takes up valuable space in a tiny cabin, yeah we can't cook a Thanksgiving Turkey or 25 lbs ham but we don't do that now anyway, even when my Gf's daughter lived with us we always bought a smaller ham or a boneless turkey breast for the holidays meals because it was just the 3 of us and there was no sense in cooking all that food.
That’s the beauty of doing it yourself. You can do whatever works for you. Happy building! And thanks for watching. 😊
Very very VERRRRY NICE !!!! Great work you guys. Jelous but hoping mine will be half as nice as yours !!!!!
Thank you! I’m sure yours will turn out great. Thanks for watching. 😊
Outstanding....
Thank you!
I really liked this cattle panel idea when I seen this video the first time I bought some of them myself to use for setting up my solar panels at our cabin when I get ready to do it. This is a great idea.
Why no blacks or muslims or mexicans in the video? After all.. It’s michigan.
Todos los amigos míos que viven en México dicen que soy casi mexicano.
I'm sorry but this is like watching paint dry.
Lol🤣 forgive me but your comment is a reminder of my brother who passed away 23, and had he no patience for this type of stuff! Thank you for the giggle and grin you brought me tonight ☺️ Even though I am in a lot of pain with my RA and my ankles are both very swollen right now 😅😅 It helps to find humor in the small things.. Again Thank you, Respectfully yours, Donna Lane Kingman Az USA
Rrot cellar?more like a stocked whole foods! Great job!
Thank you and thanks for watching! 😊
The little cabin is awesome. The root cellar is really nice. You both make a great team. I enjoyed the music as well. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you and thanks for watching! 😊
Can you help me do this?
so warm and comfy nice work
Thank you and thanks for watching! 😊
Nice work!!!
Thank you! 😊
I enjoyed what little mint plants I had in an old tub given to me by a neighbor…so fragrant. But I did not take care of them and they died very quickly. Neglect will kill them.
Yes, they smell absolutely wonderful! I love the taste just as much. Thanks for watching! 😊
I think it’s great but I would not stay anywhere I could not use a bathroom at least to do what our bodies need us to do: toilet. I’ll come to your house for the shower but in the middle of the night…… well I sure don’t need a shower but that toilet would come in handy, even compost.
Not sure what @joanndavis4843 had a problem with but I am thoroughly enjoying t is video. I’ll kindly “like” and comment for her. Thank you. I’ll subscribe too
We are building a new, on grid house but im still putting these stoves pretty high on the consideration list for a couple of reasons. One, we can still cook during power outages. They are rare, but we've had a few that were over a week long in the last ten years with major storms. The other thing, and the more important one, is that theses stove have minimal electronics in them. It seems most appliances lately fail due to control circuit failures. For something as critical in life as being able to prepare food, I really want simple, robust designs that just work and are easily field repairable if the need ever arises.
I think that’s a great idea! Thanks for watching! 😊
add a 100w solar panel their only like 50 bucks or cheaper plus like a 10 dollar cord and will keep that jackery going no prob also use usb lights they are a lot easier on power.
Thanks for the suggestions and thank you for watching. 😊
Very well thought out you guys.. Great job
Thank you and thanks for watching! 😊
What kind of metal was it you used on your ceiling? I like how shiny it is. Would like to use in my tiny cabin .
It’s corrugated metal panels from Home Depot. It’s near the other steel products. Thanks for watching! 😊
Man's Cave...must have shitter... TV and refrigerator full of beer...piss on the vegetables 😐
I would rather live in a stink hole in Georgia or Tennessee than the biggest mansion in Michigan. What do you think of that?
We don’t necessarily disagree with you, this state is in the toilet. Thanks for watching anyway.
I love what i see. Well done. Would more then enough for me to life Off Grid.
Thank you and thanks for watching! 😊
Indoor plumbing with toilet, sink, shower, tub and kitchen are simply a MUST.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Love seeing all your jars!!
Me too! 😄Thanks for watching!
None of that made sense. Thank god its a shed. Stop bending your tape, it has its own measurement usually 3 or 3-1/8 inch
Nice lil set up!
That you and thanks for watching! 😊
how much was the build?
About $42 a square foot. 😊
