I have a ProCraft 2001 165 with a 50 Merc . The boat looks like new and motor runs perfect . I bought it 5 years ago for $5500. Great trailer also, couldn’t be happier.

lugging the motor like that without a cut down prop or test wheel is really bad for it. and your water pump... its got the wrong one. v4 loopers take the LOW pressure pump not the closed deck v6 high pressure... blows the t stat off its seat and overcools the motor.
