@WanchaiChabАй бұрын
@@Clip-Back I made $50k+ over the few summers I did it. If I did a summer job instead, I wouldve made maybe $3-4k each summer. Even if you do terrible, you'll earn at least 3x more than a minimum wage job. Add on to that the skills you learn, and you'll be much more prepared to create the future you want.

I also loved robots/mecha as a kid like transformers, bionicles, and megazords. One thing I’ve gotten into recently that has helped me recapture that childhood joy are plastic gundam model kits. They’re relaxing to build, take minimal tools (can straight build with just a nipper), and are a blast to pose. I’d recommend giving one a shot, you really do feel a sense of accomplishment when you finish it!

I know what you mean about feeling like you don't have a ton of friends. I'm a more introverted person, and am usually pretty busy with school and work. BYU isn't a big party school, so it's not always easy to find opportunities to make friends. I think it's good to be intentional about getting out and trying to find those connections yourself. Doing that has given me the opportunity to meet my closest friends and make deep connections with people who I would otherwise not know. Big fan of the calming vibes though. It was a fun switch-up!
