Ruyi Asian Recipes

Ruyi Asian Recipes

Hi, I love learning and creating new recipes. In my channel, I will share with you Steamed Buns, Dim Sum and Easy Chinese Cooking Recipes.

I used to watch my Dad cook in the kitchen. So in the early days, I learned cooking tips and tricks from my Dad. Now, I learn from recipe books, KZread recipe channels and attending cooking classes. Then I just do loads of experiments and practice to get the right recipe.

I hope by watching my video, you will learn something new and cook delicious food for your family and friends!

    Hi I'm trying to make this recipe today just wanted to know how many cups of pudding does it make cause I'm just trying to make 2-3 for my small family. Also can I use powdered sugar for it? Will the ratio of sugar still be the same?

  • @ruyiasianrecipes
    @ruyiasianrecipes13 күн бұрын

    Hi I used 10cm/4 inch ramekin. About 200ml each. So you can make 2 cups for this recipe. You can multiply the ingredients by 1.5 to make 3 cups. I have not tried with powdered sugar but it should be ok. Can use 40-60 grams powdered sugar.

  • @nacylim4442
    @nacylim444214 күн бұрын

    Sry late reply...I'm using high protein flour ,maybe the yeast or the kneading part. I dono why I will never get that soft like yours or some other recipes.

  • @ruyiasianrecipes
    @ruyiasianrecipes14 күн бұрын

    @nacylim4442 did you mix in corn starch? The flour plays a major factor. I used Japanese bread flour. Sorry if I didn’t mention it. It’s give the softest texture when making bread. As for the kneading, try to knead as gently as possible. I also use mauripan yeast. I just realised recently it has a softening agent in the yeast so that could also be the reason.
