Lydia Criss did everything for Peter. She supported both of them while he went from band to band. He said in his book that Lydia took care of everything, he didn't know a thing about finances and when he got his settlement from KISS his second wife Debra helped him pi$$ through the money. Lydia was a silent member of KISS in the early days; she went to all the gigs while working full time, took professional pictures of them and kept Peter grounded. Everyone liked her. All the family members helped these guys in the early days.

I worked at KJR in Seattle in the 70s with my friend Pat O'Day, and then later I became program manager of the Northwest's big rocker, KTAC and then FM KNBQ. The Northwest was a huge hub for Tommy James over the years. Now, after decades in Top 40 radio, I am hosting a personality podcast called " Amazing Greats", now in our 4th year. I talk with legendary musicians as well as actors, athletes and authors about their incredible life story. I would love to share Tommy's journey (via zoom) with our large podcast audience in an upcoming episode. Like Tommy, faith has also become a part of my life and as a part of our conversation, I think it would be awesome to have him share that part of his life, as well. I know he is coming out West to Boise in September and would love to use this as a way to highlight that, as well as draw attention to his book, music and career. I think a chat with an old Rock and Roll DJ in Seattle and a legendary Rock and Roll performer would make a very compelling few minutes to share with the world.

Andy and Martin should have never parted ways at all, they could have run the band perfectly with others coming snd going as they pleased. Mart's bass and voice was a big loss to have let go of

The version I heard years ago, was that all the potential band names were put into a sack and when picked, two came out wishbone and ash. So they combined the two...

I saw Argent on the 1971 tour for the album All Together Now and I also saw Jim when he played in The Kinks. Great solid bassist.

No, she isn't. "Beck" (Rebecka) was the wife of a former bandmate of Peter. Bob Ezrin rewrote their song in "Beth".

Martin Turner = hands down, probably one of the best bass players to ever grace progressive music. true gymnast of the bass guitar....and while singing !! the musicality of his playing always equalled the excellence of the twin guitars. RESPECT !! nuff said.

“Sid was born in the twenties and thirties.” I guess that means he was born at least twice, which is almost as impressive as bringing the Beatles to America. Sid came across as a unique individual.

I realize I'm watching this video late, but I can't get over how much of a JERK Phil is by disrespecting Lydia as he introduces her and keeps on being a JERK all through the interview !! Phil should learn to show respect to someone genuine and important as Lydia !!

Coming from an Italian Irish family in New York, I dig her accent and the way she tells the story straight. Reminds me of my own family and it's such a joy to hear such a down to earth woman like Lydia tell things the way they were. God bless her and I am so proud of her success in life after Kiss 👍
