  Young and the Restless was actually #1 in the ratings during these three weeks, but I suppose ET felt that GL beating GH in the timeslot made for a more interesting story.

  Based on the hairstyle and what she looked like at the time, I believe Brynn Thayer's commercial was in 1979, as her hair was longer by 1980.

  I love watching As The World Turns from the 50's and 60's. It gives me an idea of what it was like. I started watching in 1978. It was very very good back then. Very well written and acted.
