@@williamoleary9330 Thanks so much. This was my first XL assembled piece by piece and built to my spec. Three-speed FLM and the octane drive gear with reverse. Lol, I even did hardened steel machine diff gears and bevel with gears. Running an LRP .32X with a Sullivan tiger starter and Buku clutch. JP-2 tuned pipe and RCX wheels. Yep, why pay for an in-box and upgrade when you can just build it like you want it?

Lrp 32 with a buku clutch. In order to do that clutch i had to get a motor plate that moved the motor back 3mm

With my Rovan 30.5cc 5B the KM Dominator pipe gave me more top end but with the OBR pipe I got more low end power.

The pipe is a THS Racing 825H-1/8 Savage Tuned Exhaust System THS825 and the motor is an SH .28-8 with the red cooling head. I removed the red cooler because it did not go with my setup.

Great vid! That Savage is a beast! I’ve using cold plugs and they’ve been lasting me way longer than the hotter plugs. Man I was burning plugs up last summer but now so far I haven’t had to replace any🫡

Homemade them. Just go to the dollar store and get the spray cleaner called Orange. Empty the bottle and cut it in half. Take an arm and cut one flap to your desired shape. Then flip it around and trace it to cut the second one. Add some small screws to bolt it up and you are done. Cost me about 5 bucks and it is plastic so they last.

Very nice truck , I'm building a savage up myself just now using two trucks I bought as spares repairs , I've been lucky both trucks turned out to be good , one has a good 4.6 and the other has a like new engine with huge compression, stay safe mate 🇬🇧

Yes its different. The 4.1 has a 3 needle carb with heat installation. In my personal opinion the Hobao 32 carb or an old Novrossi carb is better.
