Thank you for making a lesson for this, Seth. When I was younger, I had high school friends who started listening to the Grateful Dead. I'd hear their music when hanging out with them. Nothing Dead-related caught my ear until somebody played the then-new 1991 live album titled "Jerry Garcia Band." Hearing its interpretation of "Dear Prudence" was the moment I got bitten by the psychedelic spider. I've been 100% satisfied with the lessons I've bought from you. I can't wait to ride this music on my guitar like a magic carpet!

Cool lesson, thanks Seth. If you are thinking about doing a Jerry solo lesson, check out 9/24/73. Slower tempo with Chuck Berry-esque chordal work.

You are asking way too much money for each lesson. You would have so many more people buy them if they were like three bucks instead of 1099. The reason why McDonald’s has sold so many hamburgers is because they’re super cheap so over the years they’ve made so much more money than if they had charged a lot for each burger. Especially when you just put some thing up on the web and you don’t have to do anything to maintain it. I went to the website and it was just absolutely ridiculous for one lesson which I could figure out on my own in about an hour. Who’s going to pay 1099 for something they can just figure out on their own and at the same time gain a lot of know how from using their ear? Not trying to be a dick but seriously.

I have a tough time with that D chord, where you do the bass with the pinky. He does that in Peggy O too. I mean I can play it with the 3 fingers, but adding the pinky is tough.

I bought the lesson. Under the basic Rythum section, the sheets show Em, yet maybe you are playing Emaj? Also, the F chord is different between how you play in the video and the tab you show. Yours sounds better by the video vs the way the tab plays...

Chapel Hill 03-24-93! I can name that solo in.....LOL. Sorry, I know you don't like to advertise the show. I'll email you and you can let me know if you want me to hide that. I'm a big fan and loyal customer Seth. Thank you for what you do. I'm gonna have to buy this lesson very soon. I clicked on it because it was in my feed because I've been learning to jam to this. Jerry really shreds on this version and the recording is like super HD with the drums. They must have been more miked up for recording for some reason.
