Cancel your Netflix and grab a beer or kale juice as this channel will bring you passion for “Work” and passion for "Dirt", a.k.a. off roading. As a general contractor and a 4x4 enthusiast we are always working on home remodeling and 4x4 projects. We share our experience and hopefully provide helpful insight to projects you may be considering. (update: channel split, check out Work n Dirt OFFROAD for more offroad content!) Most importantly, we are grateful for the opportunity to create this channel so in appreciation, "Work n Dirt" contributes to veterans, trails, and charities quarterly in many different ways!

    I bought a 3,000 pound type load master from a catalog competitor to harbor freight & was skeptical. 1st time I used it I loaded 3,260 pounds of #5 Limestone & thought yea going to be shoveling lots of this off, I was Wrong. I put the handle in started turning the crank and the gravel started rolling right off ,had buddy inch truck forward as I turned handle and it spread perfectly thickness just right etc . If your going to Buy one I recommend getting the higher rates weight capacity it is well worth the $$ . Know my truck is an older one with the Bed liner that is super smooth which I'm sure helps but you can always use a heavy duty tarp if you have a spray in bed liner

    OK, I like your video because it’s got some great information unfortunately I don’t know nothing about this so this is what happened to me. I think they cut a few corners. I won’t lie but my backyard looks great. It’s uneven. You can see it until I might get them to come and fix that, it’s a 10 year warranty on my turf. And you’re right I think it was your number six or seven that it gets super hot. I could not tell you how scolded my feet were. I left my sandals out. They have a black base to slip them on. They were scorching hot stood on the turf for five seconds before I jumped in the pool to save my souls. … Soles more like it. Anyway, great video and now I’m working on perfecting backyard cleanup because we have a lot of wind and south Texas and a lot of leaves so I’m working on that part lol

    I have always heard that echo string trimmers, schrub trimmers and most chainsaws are very easy and dependable starting. I have multiple of these and all mine are very dependable. The only drawback to the extendable echo pole saw is the weight. But the other bounuses make up for that. Plus the power is great

    Cant you reuse the turf down with "infill"? it holds the turf down ..What am i missing? thanks

  • @WorknDirt
    @WorknDirt5 ай бұрын

    A 13' x 40' roll of grass had enough infill to fill a 2 yd.³ dumpster. It's a lot to handle logistically speaking. trying to transport the grass with the infill triples the weight. Bottom line the infill is heavy, messy and hard to handle unless you develop a container transport system. and we didn't want the infill granules getting into the pool. I hope that helps.

  • @WorknDirt
    @WorknDirt5 ай бұрын

    in addition, there are a lot of trees and weeds where we placed the grass and so it's been very convenient to flip the grass and shake it out once in a while. If it had a bunch of infill in it, it would be hard to do.
