Absolutely! Congrats on 400! It so great to relive the trail thru you! I wondered about the shelter at Roan, when I was walking past it was really cold and I was ill prepared. Met a hiker named Topo who helped me out and I’m pretty sure saved my life. We’re still friends after all this time. Really glad you are able to continue your hike! Kudos to Outdoors for finding a way to support you. Outdoors, really hope you can get back on trail! Love listening to Oh Look and I love what she is doing, but I miss the camaraderie between the two of you. And the obvious care you have for each other. Oh look, thanks again for taking us with you and continuing the adventure! I’m loving your channel!

Thanks for taking us along on your journey! This was great! The walk over the bridge, the views, the conversation with the trail angels was wonderful! Had to think back to where Sam’s Gap was. Can’t wait to see your pictures at Big Bald, Uncle Johnny’s and Beauty Spot! These are excellent! So much fun to relive the experience, but also see a different take on it. See some of the things I missed or didn’t do. Everyone’s experience is different. Love how y’all point out the flora! And yes, the gnats are terrible. They drove my step son mad when he came with me once. Your videos are wonderful!

We don't recommend drinking the water along the TBTL due to previous oilwell drilling and possible contamination. The only alligators might be at Toledo Bend Lake on the eastern end, and there is a park with faucets for water there. Cache water along the trail at road crossings.

Love when you give dates of when you are where you are at. It helps me determine if we will meet or not. Really hope we do. Things I’d like to see more of…when you zero…what do you do for fun? More restaurant critiques, more shout outs of hostels you’ve stayed at. Slack packing is definitely awesome. Glad you’re feeling better. Know you’re probably past Standing Bear. That place is just beautiful. I was awestruck! Love what you two are doing. Can’t wait to see more!

At 17:10, what are those barber poles sticking out of the river? Some kind of kayak run?

Yes, that's a big kayaking venue.

I love your hike plan...."killin' it slowly" 😃 I squirrel brained and forgot to mention on your last video that to keep rain from splashing in, pitch your Duplex lower. To do that, I usually lower my hiking poles a little shorter, then stake out as usual. I'm loving these videos and enjoying following your hike. E, how's your Plantar Fascitis doing?

Thanks for the hack on reducing splash. The PF is relentless, but I'm managing so far.

Around halfway through the OT mine kicked up with a fierce vengeance. I packed my night splints which helped a lot and found that soaking my feet in cold water anytime we camped by it, rolling with cork ball morning and night and putting Biofreeze on every night made a big difference....oh, and lots of Vitamin I. I hope you're able to find the perfect blend for controlling yours.
