  It's because CA is ruled, long term, by Democrats, and Democrats are always for the criminal vs the citizen. These squatters need to take over the Governor's mansion and congressmen homes, and you will see how fast their gallantry changes. Just like Martha's Vineyard big-hearted "Sanctuary city." Lasted only one night when the rubber hits the road and it starts affecting THEM, directly. It's called Political/Judicial Hypocrisy. Rhetoric and BS is cheap.

  This dude gives you the wrong advice. Evicting a squatter will take years to accomplish (and tens and tens of thousands of dollars of expense even before considering the damage done to your property), given the squatters will get free legal representation (at taxpayer expense) and will use every means to delay any court ordered eviction. You'll not want to call the police, they are useless. You will want to arrange for 4 to 6 outlaw motor cycle gang members that you've hired to squat on the squatters. Long term, give up being a landlord in California, the state is completely against you.

  look at the large nose small hat tryng to dissuade people from doing this because his people have bought up all the land and it's almost impossible to get rent for a decent price. i bet youre okay with it now that the illegals are doing it.

  I am currently squatting in San Francisco. It’s awesome! Idk why anyone would pay rent. I’ve been “squat hopping” for 8 years now 😂

  The last owner was harassing me so I sued him! 😂 He turned off the water and hit me with a rock. I pressed charges for assault! lol I love California! I moved here from Texas 10 years ago and I’ll never go back! God bless California!

  Everything was great until I saw the low fence / gate which is at the "common area" grass. No way. Anyone can walk on that common area, and hop right over your little white wall & gate there. Robbery just waiting to happen, especially since it's in the quiet backyard area that no one can see. Renters would probably not mind it, since they can leave quick.

  A lot of crime in this street. Multiple shootings in the last few years with one being a fatality. Gang activity is also prevalent on this street.

  That's ridiculous. When CPI is higher than 3%, rent increases cap at 3%. Then government want property owner eat the loss? That will force the landlords become slumlords.

  they already are slumlords. Rent has gone up much higher than cpi for decades, the rent impoverishes tenants.

  Given how many abandoned properties the Chinese have taken over in SF, I see no issue. I say go for it. Take care of the property and don’t raise issues, but generally speaking: take over those abandoned homes but take care of them and pay your taxes

  Upon a successful claim of adverse possession, what is the tax basis of the property once it is considered property of the squatter? How does the title get transferred to the squatter? Once the title is legally in the squatter's name, what is the tax basis upon which they owe property taxes? If the squatter decides to take out a loan using their new property as collateral, what value would be used for this collateral? If the squatter decides to sell the property to a new owner, what would their tax basis be for any capital gain tax calculation?

  Kitchen and the Primary Bathroom is the only thing that I liked about this house. The Floors are Horrible, And the Fireplace is no better. When you Rent a Property liked this probably asking Between $2700.00- $3500.00 especially in California. The Property is supposed to be Upgraded on The Outside as WELL.

  Hey Alex, I see that this home is Nice from the Outside, But Boy you get on the Inside, Old School All the Way. This Particular Property that Could have Been Renovated. Gut the Whole House, And start all over. I know something's about Properties. It's looks 😩😫, Just the way it is!

  There were something's I liked and disliked about this home. I liked the Floors, And the Space. The backyard is really nice. What I didn't like was the Kitchen Cabinets, They should have left it the Dark Expresso Color, Instead that Ugly color. All those Toilets should be Replaced. Nice Presentation 👍😊🥰

  The Primary Bedroom, Because the Office Space takes up so much room, Where are you going to put your bed. All the Carpeting needs to be replaced, And the floor in the Kitchen needs Replacing. The Walkway needs to be Repaved. The Double Doors in the Front Entrance is Gorgeous. Backyard is a Dream, Not a Bad looking House at all. But still needs to tell the Viewers about Pricing, The Viewers are going know anyway!
