Se disuelve con agua?
yes it does, it does have some waterproofing in but also has an emulsifier, You do need a cleansing lotion to remove it
Hi, hope this message finds you wel. I wanted to share some tips to improve your KZread channel and maximize the visiblity of your content. Tips that your competition is using to get better results than you and grow their KZread channel.
couldnt u use colloidal silver water instead of distilled when making lotions??? its anti viral and biotic.
i haven't had good results with colloidal silver water. It might extend the life of the lotion or cream for a couple of weeks which doesn't work if selling. However for personal use you can always try and see if it works for you!
Does anyone else think this is a robot???😂
No its me and I am a real person! I do have a company called the aroma shoppe in the Netherlands and also a cosmetic company
This is a link for the mineral classic Foundation for information on the ingredients pavez.nl/product/minerale-foundation-cool-canvas/ and here is a link for the hydra Elite foundation & Concealer pavez.nl/product/minerale-hydra-poeder/. From here you can see the difference in the foundations and why the hydra elite foundation protects the skin from the sun more than the classic foundation. Be aware that every brand is different!
Everyone is beating around the bush. I just need a natural preservative that is not vitamin E oil. And you people are carrying people around the globe to delay in order to monetize on KZread.
First of all i am not moneterized on youtube. I am just giving some guidance on some of the preservatives that I use in my skin care products which work!
it seems it is hard to find dicaprylyl carbonate online. Can you you please commend a substitute it ? it live in Europe :)
We carry dicapryl carbonate and we are located in the Netherlands aromashoppe.com/product/dicaprylyl-carbonate/
Dicapryl carbonate is non oily which what makes it so special in a cream or lotion. However some substitutes would fractionated coconut oil or jojoba which are the least oily of carrier oils!
Thanks for a very informativ podcast. Question: you didn't add any preservatives to the cream with OlivOIl avenate . May I ask why?
If I am going to use myself within a couple of weeks, then i won't add a preservative. However if putting into a pot to keep for a while i personally like to add either leucidal 4% or grapefruit seed extract 2%
@@janbenham Thanks 🙏
Where can I get a mold?
We used to sell the mold, however the manufacturer that we had stopped producing them. The only way now is through alibaba from China. You have to send a pencil in so they can develop the correct mold
Is ceteareth 20 endocrine disrupter?
It is a possiblilty. However there is very little used in the end product not even 1/4 % as it is mostly stearic acid that is used with a tad of ceteareth 20. Frankly the most problem common product as an endocrine disrupter is perfumes and scents that are used in most products including scented candles, soaps, laundry soap etc. the perfumes are much more dangerous than ceteareth20 (i am not talking about pure essential oils here!) I personally make my creams and lotions with OlivOil avenate which is more expensive but has a lovely texture to the end product and natural. I teach how to make creams and lotions, hence this video, so we explore all chemical avenues and look at how emulsifyiers are made with many different emulsifyiers that are on the market. Then the students can make an educated choice about what they use as an emulsifyier.
Jan can you plz list a link for the commercial grapefruit seed extract for safe cosmetic use?
Hi, Here is the link and yes we ship internationally aromashoppe.com/product/grapefruit-seed-extract/
Thank you.
If I want to make only one lipstick plz write to me a ratio of each ingredients to make one lipstick and can I make mix of 2 pigments powder to make a new colour
you can always mix pigments. usually for 2 or 3 lipsticks, one can mix to 12g of lipstick base with up to 4 g of pigment. the lipstick base can be a mixture of waxes, butters and oils. Recipes can be found at www.u-makecosmetics.com/ plus in my ebooks Dare to kiss and the complete book of lipsticks which can be found at aromashoppe.com/product-category/books-by-jan-benham/e-books/ and also on amazon
Thank you so much for the comprehensive and informative break down on the difference between mica and impact. It broke down why I wasn't getting the vibrancy I wanted and I was about to get discouraged when I came across your video by complete happenstance on Amazon.

Have you ever used eye shadow sticks? The ones from Laura Mercier and Bobbie brown are very emollient and easy to work with. These would work so well for your smudging technique!
Thank you for your information. The kajal eye pencils that I make which are offered in many colours are basically the same as eyeshadow sticks and i use the kajal eye pencils often in my smudging technique.
Where is the video for these excersises please

Just a tip regarding your videos. Better to just have points to look at and then just speak naturally about each of these points, rather than just reading a script. Overall when listening to just natural speaking it's much more enjoyable. Great information though.
Thanks for the tips! Normally i usually speak directly without any notes, but wanted to make sure that I got all the information in. I agree with you

I'm uncertain if you'll respond to this comment, but if you do, could you please advise me? I'm attempting to create a hair wax using carnauba wax. I'd appreciate your suggestions on which emulsifier to use or what additional ingredients I should incorporate into the carnauba wax for making the hair wax.
is this a wax to apply to the hair to keep the hair in place? Also, are you wishing to mix water into the hair wax?
This is a wax I'm creating as a styling product because many pomades and commercial hair waxes contain carnauba wax. After researching its ability to hold hair for extended periods, I opted for it over candelilla and beeswax due to its superior strong-hold properties. However, I'm unsure whether to mix water or take another approach. I'm seeking guidance on creating a pure carnauba paste without extra additives, allowing me to easily apply it to my hair by rubbing it between my hands. I'm hesitant about adding water as it might affect the consistency. Could you advise me on how to achieve a paste-like texture and suggest a suitable method for preserving it in a container?@@janbenham
@@SkanDasz if you are not adding water, then you dont need an emulsifier . However i would suggest adding stearic acid to make the carnauba hair wax more pliable otherwise it will be too brittle and you should also to mix in oils such as jojoba which should give you the right consistency
Do you recommend adding glycerine instead of oil?@@janbenham
@@SkanDasz you could only but try, also dicapryl carbonate for example doesn't leave an oily finish
So pretty 🤩
Thank you!
Disgusting 🤮
This is beyond adorable cause the real life results are so sweet
How can I treat too much HA redness and burning and itching? My skin is on fire 🔥
I assume that you applied a product that contained Hyaluronic acid? The best thing that you can do is apply German chamomile or immortelle essential oil. 1 drop of either in a touch of jojoba oil in the palm of your hand and apply. Not sure how long you have had this problem ro if it was just a one off? I do need more information for more advice
Yes I was using the HA B5 serum from Maelove. I usually use HA from the Ordinary I Thought this one would be better but hell no Used it about 6 times morning and night. I have been applying no serums just some cosrx cream and it is soothing it a bit. It don’t pay to go with fancy expensive products apparently

Great video ,,, so nicely explained and awesome effects🌟
Thanks, I just realized that i need to do a letter for you. if you can remind me at the weekend via email i will get it off to you.
Jan, just saw your interview with Dave Mac. Wonderful 🎉 I stopped using baby powder (I’m from NYC) A very long time ago and used corn starch instead if I needed it for deodorant purposes. I have heard from a lady on the web called Janine Bowring (I believe) that Magnesium Stéarate is unhealthy too, but she was referring to it when it is used as a flow agent in supplements?
That's great! Most people are not aware of the ingredients in body and skin care cosmetics that they are putting on their skin and the possible dangers of some of them.

I do have a shampoo recipe that is in My book the Baby boomers beauty bible, Easy to make. For mica , i would [play with adding a tiny touch of one of the blue micas we have. you do only need a tiny touch to the recipe. The book is available both as an e book and hard copy at aromashoppe.com/product/the-baby-boomers-beauty-bible-by-jan-benham-copy/
Is cetearth 20 toxic
Its not bad as some emulsifiers go. However, it is a peg! I personally use OlivOil Avenate emulsifier for my creams as it is 100% natural and is non=toxic.
I always wondered at essential oils and their preservative properties. I'm glad you shared your experience. GSE is not a reliable preservative. I was wondering if you can share the results of a formal challenge test when you used the benzoin, myrrh and GSE?
there are different strengths of GSE . the one available at a health food store is not strong enough! Myrrh is antifingal which at the beginning of my journey i used it along with a strong GSE but then one has the same smell in the finished products. I personally now use leucidal max as it is natural and i have never had an issue with mold growing in my creams and they have also passed all the cosmetic tests in the EU.
