Watching this 3 hours and 20 minutes video feels like I'm at the virtual masterclass to teach many basic and essential cooking methods with Jacques Pepin. Thank you for recording this DVD from the cookbook Essential Pepin.

Thank you for so generously sharing your knowledge and recipes. Poulet a la creme is one of my favorite dishes as is your mother's way of making a cheese souffle. Again, thank you.

When I was at highschool I remember they were playing these as shorts during ad breaks on the cooking channel. I have learned so much about cooking from Jacque Pepin and he is classes above all of the modern celebrity chefs.

The personal chef of the french president Charles de Gaulle. Refused John. F. Kennedy's offer for the same position in the White House. No wodner I've always thought he is classes above all of the new celebrity chefs. Also seems like a really nice guy and i've learned so much from his shows.

To ANYONE wanting to pursue a serious career in culinary WATCH THIS VIDEO MULTIPLE TIMES. No cute tik tok "chef" like Nick Digiovanni or Joshua Weissman are worth your time and will ever give you a proper knowledge of the fundamentals . Jacques is one of the old guard and his skill set is FAR above any youtuber. Ive been a chef almost 30 years and believe me when I say he is a culinary colossus.

The only heinous thing he does is drag the blade while scraping the board. It makes me want to vomit watching him destroy the edge of the knife when he just started out explaining how to sharpen his knife
