  You definitely did a good job proving your car friends wrong. I can see that a Prius driver isn’t always driving slow. I see that the late model Mitsubishi Mirage is slower than a Prius.

  I hate when my buddy who has a Prius trying to cut me off to get ahead of us. Now I have to slow down just to make you feel good about yourself. He was talking so much junk after that to everyone how he’s car goes faster than my Hyundai Veloster. Next time he tried to cut me off by moving past me I dropped down the gear and shot right passed him as he was trying to speed past me. We started dying laughing in the car. After that he now says he wants a new car

  You take your life in your hands when you drive in Rowland Heights! We go weeks with no cops in sight, then they're here for a couple of days, but drive by all the people riding bikes on the sidewalks, the cars cutting people off, and the ridiculous way they stop at street lights (with one to two car lengths between cars). I've had to slam my brakes to avoid killing people that just run in front of my car! These people really are the worst drivers on Earth!!!! The pedestrian's are awful too.

  Skeet station 3, not station 4. On a combo field, skeet station 4 is directly behind station 3 on the trap layout. Center of the field. It is also in line with skeet station 8.

  Well that was how long it took HIM not how long it takes. I shot a bear with a .54 flint lock and he needed a 2nd shot. The guys that heard the shots didn't think it was me because they could not believe a flintlock could be reloaded that fast. : ) That man never worked at getting his reload time down, or his kit in one bag. And he never had an angrey black bear to improve his fastest time!

  The Prius can go fast just like any car. It is the acceleration that is easily eclipsed by any "fast" car. But who gives a crap about going fast faster when your breaks are gold and your car gets 48mpg at speeds that give everyone else like 15mpg?

  100mph is a safe speed for a motorcycle on the freeway. not above the law, but 'cycles are less safe riding in and around traffic. so police and others ride faster than traffic. its good to always be passing cars so we are out of your way, and vice-versa. what police don't like is reckless riding. faster than the speed limit is usually ok, though. within reason, which is determined by conditions. when passing traffic riders can often reach 100mph, but slow down when out in the clear. but better to break the speed limit then be all over the pavement. i bet you get tail gated sometimes? cut off, too? could happen pretty often. or brake checked? now imagine the same thing on a bike, time and time again! so, riders ride faster when its safe and conditions permit. because it is safer to be in the furthest left lane and passing cars, not riding alongside them, or have them right on top of you. you got passed by a speeding motorcycle. that is much better then a bike being anywhere near you for the rider and driver :)

  First off, good shooting. I would love to shoot with you some time. Second, I too have a Mobius that I mounted under the bill of my cap with velcro. It works very well...I guess just look at my video that I posted...one of the first ones that I have ever done, so it is not very good. Oh yeah, don't get in to a gun fight with the old guy, he is a good shot! Thanks, John

  while i do think the prius is ok im a real car guy i love all cars import or not but 100 mph is not fast the prius is not fast ive herd that george barris designed the prius not sure if thats correct he was the original king of kustoms and is still a huge name in the kustom world.that being said ide like to bag a prius and add a huge system to it .but for the money ide rather build a rat rod

  The prius is a slow car. When people drive at high speeds in slow cars, accidents ensue. That said, I get a kick out of dusting prius drivers that think their cars are fast.

  +aestheticcm1 Compared to what? The Prius is not a slow car and will run with any naturally aspirated 4 cylinder car on the highway...plus my 2010 Prius will dust off most regular 4 cylinder cars 0-40 mph all while getting better mpg.

Well let's see, compared with other similarly sized cars, any of the following will smoke a prius like a cheap cigar: wrx, 320, 328, 335, ford focus st, ford focus rs, any mustang built in the last 30 years, lancers, lancer evo, maxima, altima, camry, gti, a4, a6, frs, brz, kias, a fair number of hyundais, a potato, and..the vast majority of suvs and minivans on the road. Mind you, many of the aforementioned vehicles aren't fast enough to move out of their own way, but they are fast enough to dust a prius. But don't take my word for it, here are the numbers from MotorTrend: "Why it’s this slow: The quickest Prius 0-60 mph time we’ve ever recorded is 9.5 seconds. The very first Prius we tested in 1998 needed 13.7 seconds." www.motortrend.com/news/top-10-slowest-0-60-mph-vehicles-motor-trend-tested-in-2012-307101/ 9.5 seconds??? Come on man, a dog sh**s quicker than that. As for myself, I choose to dust fast moving priuses spotted in the rearview with a 370z in the summer, and I choose to match them in a hyundia accent in the winter. Any car you've supposedly "dusted" in a prius probably wasn't even aware you were there. You can rave about mpg all day long, and rightly so, but where speed is concerned, prius owners have nothing to brag about.

  The 3rd generation Prius does 0-40 in 4.8 seconds... that compares favorably to many 4 cylinder vehicles. In addition my friend and I chose to drive to Vegas from Auburn,Al in the Prius. We drove 75-85 all the way (85-95 mph thru Texas) and still averaged 43.8 mpg which is about twice the mileage of your cramped 370Z.

  +label1877 2012 prius 9.7 second 0-60, let it sink in. That means according to you, it takes the prius about 5 seconds to get from 40-60, which if true, is truly astounding. Here's the link www.motortrend.com/cars/toyota/prius/2012/ For comparison, the naturally aspirated 4cyl FRS does 0-60 in 6.4 sec. No doubt the Z's trunk is small, but that's hardly why I bought it, and it's why sportscar owners like myself own multiple cars. As for the seating in the cabin, it's exceedingly comfortable, like most other sportscars...until you get on a bumpy road, but cornering has its price. I get 19 mpg in the Z on a good day; 22mpg on a bad day. The accent gets 33mpg all day long, but I always take the Z on long trips, because frankly, I gleefully pay more $ in gas for a finer driving experience.

  It's not a fast car, but some people seem to think it can't reach the speed limit or something. It has a higher top speed than Leaf, Volt, Smart, and most cheap economy cars (not that it matters with speed limits and cops). At least it's not advertised to be fast, unlike most Scion rice cars.

  Why would you need to leave the carpool lane and go all the way to the right when there is a ramp leading to the 57 from the carpool lane? That's the point of those little ramps.

  I was driving by there today sep 21 2013 at around 10:30 am and I saw a car that was rear ended really hard . It was a fatally as the coroner van parked on the side confirm it .

  I wrote that in my comments about running the redlight, actually I wasn't paying attention and when I noticed the light turned red it was too late. Well... when you have 555 HP it's hard not to want to step on it. :)

  I drove on a 3200 mile trip from Seattle to L.A. and back in a rental prius, and on stretches of I-5, I was cruising at 80-85 with no problems. In fact, going up the grapevine pass, I was easily able to go 80mph. Overall on that trip, I averaged about 48 mpg.

  its not bout the car its bout the driver. my dad is 50 y/o but he over takes chargers with bout 25 y/o drivers that have more space in front of them then we do. also dont say he might have been looking for a turn. he had the area plate, and we were on the freeway, he was in the left lane driving speed limit.
