    @ 5:40 you said you didn't want to cut the plastic under the glove box and have to buy a new dash panel. Thought you and all should be aware that Honda repair information says to cut that part out since it is unnecessary and it even has slots molded into it to indicate where to cut it. It was only there to keep it all together when it came down the assembly line. The removable bracket behind it holds the instrument panel together. Cut it out next time without worrying. It's authorized by Honda.

    I have a 2007 vw Rabbit. Rough idle and Sputtering when accelerating. I already replaced the coils, plugs, 1st fuel injector, Top & Bottom Fuel Injector O-Rings and the PCV Valve. Just tested the Variable Timing Valve (Clicks and moves) so working. Still sputtering.

    Thank you for this video. And the use of the ac pro unit lol. I didn't realize toyota did a clutchless ac compressor until now. The compressor control valve is available separate now. Would you still replace the whole compressor in this situation? Or would you try just replacing the valve?

    My 2017 Buick encore is still reading the p1101 code after replacing, intake manifold, pcv tubing, pcv valve cover, spark plugs, coil pack, mass airflow sensor, intake air temperature sensor, o2 sensor and throttle body was cleaned to look brand new. after all that i'm still getting rough could start where rpms jump from 1000 to 2000 for about 10 seconds, after driving for a while and coming to a stop it rough idles and feels like it wants to turn off. I'm now debating replacing the VVT solenoid as i've seen that some of them can cause those symptoms. what would you recommend.

    Hey, I have a 2015 Corolla , it’s making a noise down around the belt area, it’s sounds like a grinding noise. How can I tell if it’s the compressor while it’s on the car. Will it be ok to take my belt off and run it for 30 seconds to c if it’s making the noise?

  • @uglyhp8225
    @uglyhp8225Ай бұрын

    yea usually if you take the belt off and spin all the pulleys by hand you can tell if you start it and the noise is still there then it isnt any thing ran by the belt

    My 2001 DC2 fuel pump isn't priming.i checked everything, all the connections work fine as they should except power from main relay to fuel pump. Main relay is brand new. This problem started happening occasionally that's when I changed the relay. Then happed again after a while and I changed the 15A fuel pump fuse and it had a great run until now it stopped for good. When I turn the ignition I feel a very faint kick to the relay. I even powered the fuel pump directly to the battery to see if it works and it does and I tried starting the car like that but it didn't fire up. Have you ever came across something like this?

    My 2010 Corolla LE with 126k, has an AC issue. Turn on the AC on a hot summer afternoon day in South Florida even all the way on high setting and it blows warm air for five minutes. After five minutes I can feel the cool air starting to blow. My mechanic replaced the AC refregeriant but it does not solve the issue.. Will replacing the A/C control valve solve my issue?

    im in daytona so sometimes these can be hard to diag do you know what the pressures are sitting at should be between 35 and 40 on the low side when it is running if it is above that could be a fan issue, blocked condensor or bad compressor if it below that then the freon may not be fully charged or the expansion valve isnt operating properly

  • @savio1172
    @savio1172Ай бұрын

    @@uglyhp8225 Thanks for the information. Not sure what the readings are. I'll have to find a place that has some experience diagnosing car AC systems. The freon was fully evacuated & charged a little over a year ago, but did not resolve the issue. The care care nut commented once on my question about this issue and he thought it was a sticky flow valve on the compressor, but said wait till it completely stops working. But south Florida is super hot in the summer. Also, another thing I have noticed is when the AC is finally cool after a few minutes and I am at a stop light, it seems not to cool as well at idle.
