Great work. I appreciate the steps being shown and the failure, then the rise from the failure again. It's easy to scrap something and move on, I do it more often then I like, but it shows immense character to follow through with something despite setbacks. I can see your passion for your craft. Keep it up!

Excellent video. I'm always glad to see makers show the bad things that can happen to anyone. Nice recovery and a wonderful way to get lemonade. Also, your patience is saint worthy; can't say I would have done so well resisting the urge to hurl it into the void. Nicely done

hey man, any chance you can make any traditional slater hammers? We dont see many quality ones going around anymore- most of the authentically forged ones are highly prized heirlooms- it would be cool to see a modern blacksmiths take on them :DD

beautiful work, very classy ...I always keep an eye open for hand forged calipers, I really like the hand feel of blacksmith made wrought iron tools. and I love finding them even though I am perfectly capable of making my own. I get a real kick out of seeing them made too.

I usually get it from old scrap, sometimes you can tell just by the surface. I’ve got a fair amount of old anchor chain, architectural salvage, and wagon tires too
