Brilliant video 👍
which one for zen 29cc?
Wow and I thought my method of inserting them was fast 💨 yours was 10x faster. lol I am curious about the foam mine has the white stuff in them. Oh and I am glad I was able to help you lose some of that pocket weight lol Thanks for the shout out.
It took me no time at all, just slap the wheel against it. I had the wheels on the truck in like 30 seconds 😂😂😂. You definitely help me lose some weight in my wallet 😂👍🤫
Believe that set up is perfect for the Bigfoot 8 that I’d like to build I’m curious what your final drive gears are ??25/25??
Yes they are 25/25. Thank you for watching
👍🏻 yeah i like it
Got to make sure the bearings are good. It’s going to be going on a 500 mile trip soon.
I want one!!🍻
They are amazing trucks. Once you start modifying the truck, it starts to become its true self. The best thing about these trucks is for the most part no 2 are the same. The initial cost is expensive and they are difficult to move around but they put the biggest smile on my face. I honestly never thought I would use this truck as much as I do.
@@Matthewstoychest they are expensive but this hobby is expensive I need one I have everything else arrma taradas losi planets of toys I was on the website challenger looks nice .but really want this truck
What batteries do you run in your xmaxx.
Zeee 9000mah 100c 4s
Oh and I still forget which screws go to what part. Which is why all cars need exploded diagrams.
😂😂
Videos like this one is how I first found your channel. If I’m not mistaken I was looking for how to rebuild a losi 5ive-T diff when I found your channel. Super helpful video and not easy to film by yourself. Keep up the good work it definitely helps. Who would have thought we would be good friends all these years later all just because of our obsession for RC and because of a video just to try and help others out. 👍🏻🍻
So very true. Glad we did become good friends. The funny thing is I wanted Matthew to hold the camera but he didn’t want to stand there that long. I figured since I’m fixing his truck and paying for the parts the least he could do is hold the camera but he didn’t want to 😂😂
Watching now
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Good video! 👍
Thank you. I appreciate it.
Very well done great video if and when I go electric, you know, I’ll be calling you
That’s sounds good to me. The way I see it I think a comparison video might be in the future. 71cc vs 560kv might might make a good video when I come to NC 👍
Another great video and looking forward to seeing more👍
Thank you very much. There will be new video’s every Saturday.
Looks great 👍
Thank you. I appreciate that. Thanks for watching 👍
Love the Name and new look. That ESC is massive. Love it 😍
Thanks Gary. Also I want to thank you and your daughter for helping with the design.
They grow up so fast
Hi, love it. I'm doing the same to my Slayer Pro. How tight is the slipper clutch?
I tighten it down slowly until the springs fully compress then I back it off a half to 3/4 of a turn
Team Associated, all the way. Traxxas DOES NOT even come close!!!!
I have been look for those. Thank you
Thanks for the shout out I really appreciate it. Good video. I was also self taught how to solder. I need a new station mine broke.
First thing is money. If you enjoy it just throw your wallet at it because the addiction is real. Just saying.
Awesome trucks ..that thing was cookin
Very nice information for the new folks coming in ..I came in with a nitro car back when lipo wasn't in yet ..So I run nitro mostly but I'm surprised people are still coming in the hobby with nitro with so many electric cars available that u basically can charge and rip ..great content man
Thank you very much. I appreciate that.
Excellent video for anyone considering getting into the hobby
Thanks Gary I appreciate it.
some day i will get one or 2 of these i also don't see myself using it all that much but i love the look. did you see the videos where they turned them in to computers?
They are great to look at that’s for sure. Its fun to pull your kids around the house.
I so want one
I can tell you that I have a large collection of rc cars. I can honestly say this is probably the one that gets used the most. It is so much fun and honestly truly worth the money.
@@Matthewstoychest if I could afford one my problem would be how to get it outside.I live in an upstairs flat so carrying it up and down the stairs could be a problem lol
@@martindalton2101 ya carry downstairs would be a task. They are really fun to use but they are not fun at all to move around
Couldn’t hear a darn word that you said lol
Ya I know I’m sorry about that. The wind noise was horrible. I have to get different microphones.
Love it 🍩
Thanks Gary it does doughnuts so much better with the long wheelbase.
Sorry monster trucks needs gas motors loud n proud
Wow Matthew drives as good as you and your brother now. You need to get him in to racing.
Your not kidding. His driving skills have improved so much over the last couple years.
Thanks again for all the help emptying out my bank account. and really happy to see a video from you
It was a privilege to help guide your money to a good place. Can’t wait to see what comes next

I know with some setups xou can get around 65 mph
Did you have to cut the body ?
No I did not
Nice video kv5tt moves out good with obr 34ss engine👍🏾
Where can you get those wheels ?
You might be able to find them used on eBay. They stopped making those wheels along time ago.
@@Matthewstoychest what are they called ?
@@yoboihamsamgaming5206 losi 420s force wheels
Is this radio still viable today
If you can find it used. I upgraded to a dx5 pro
@@Matthewstoychest i got 1 in a bundle i bought. Was thinking of using it on a big rock or kraton 6s
wonderful video does the nitro version have reverse speed? greetings friend
No it does not. It is forward only with a 3 speed transmission.
@@Matthewstoychest thx for the input my friend:)
How do they compare to the stock 5t tires? Looking at getting a set for a Baja sc
The stock 5ive t tire is a good all around tire. These tires are much better in grass and dirt then the stock tires. I have these tires on my Baja 5SC they do work well. However I found with the baja you need to match your tire to the terrain that you are running on. When there are new they work well once they start to wear down they don’t work that well anymore. I have a set of trenchers , a set of paddle tires and these tires all for the baja on different wheels. These tires are now made by mad max and are available at DDM.
@@Matthewstoychest how do the max max compare to the trencher knockoffs? I’d probably get a 2nd set of road tires
@@danielnunez3518 the mad max tires are same as the tires on the video. The trenches are completely different unfortunately are not made anymore. King motors made set I forgot what they called them. With the Baja you got to get multiple different sets of tires to work with the ground conditions are working with.
Very nice bruha
Man I hear you. I left nitro years ago only because life happened. I recently got back into it. Bought a new motor for my old truck. Seems simple enough. Well for two months now, it’s been hell. I have probably put about 35 plus hours working on it and about 3 hours of actually driving it. It has been one thing after the other. The first engine had air leaks. Bad head button and front bearing. That as just the beginning of the hell to come. Transmission, then servos. After that the radio died. New cv shafts, another engine, bad gas tank. I am not new to nitro at all. I break in my engines with heat cycles and have my own way. Back in the day my engines ran 10 plus gallons with only replacing bearings. I finally have it up and going, but its been two months of waiting on parts and just hours of work. Every time one thing was fixed another effin thing would happen. Guess what? Now I’m almost burned out. I have had three days of peace this last week running again out f all this time. But honestly I can’t enjoy it because all I can think about is, what the hel is going to happen next. I’m past my speed days. I just want some nice bashing with jumps and some fun. The very latest was a runaway. If one more thing goes wrong, I’m done. Things weren’t this way. I’m almost $700 into this truck now. Pretty pissed. This used to be fun but shit, it’s already breaking my bank and my peace.
No parts anymore for this truck.
Kyosho American has parts in stock. Some are out of stock but primarily the ones that break would be in stock
That means we can expect a new version soon, hopefully..... Mine has been a shelf queen since I cant get the 3 speed to shift
Another guy that can’t tune. That was was way to good of a find for that. Double idle. Way to high of an idol. Shitty. Well hopefully you have learned all that by now.

Ive had the same m.max metal steerring arm a couple years, steering was never great with it until it got so lose it started popping off, the spring that is. So i put a wide & thick zip tie around it & it steers better than it ever has!
That’s exactly what used to do
Killer rc is now taking everyone's money and not shipping his products. Idk what happened with kent or killer rc but I had to open a PayPal case to get a refund from them.. I guess no more killer rc.
Did you have to buy a new sticker kit with that body or did it come with it? I’ve got the same truck w/ electric conversion
I bought a new sticker sheet. This body was clear. It does not come with window masks either I just used masking tape. I’m considering doing an electric conversion to mine as well.
Awesome man 👍, how. Do you like this truck?
I love the truck. You have to drive more like a scale truck you can’t drive this truck like a 5ive t. It was a truck that I wanted to buy for a long time and when I finally pulled the trigger on it, I had zero regrets
Hey thanks for the reply I appreciate that, that’s good to hear I guessing by what you said you ha to drive it like a scale truck.. meaning it likes to roll over in the turns..ect? Any recommended up grades? Or parts that your going to need more then others? Thanks .
@@paintendaveextremecollisio8057 yes it does like to traction roll. However, with the addition of the larger engine that I put into it, it is easy to break traction and power slide. As far as upgrading parts, the parts that come in the truck are very robust. The only thing I recommend changing is the upper 4 link bracket on top of the rear axle the stock on this plastic I upgraded to an aluminum one. Also, if you jump the truck high and it nosedives, there is not enough mass in the tires to correct the truck in the air. It is very front heavy , with keeping the spare tires in the back. It does help to counter balance it, but if you start to nose dive in the air, you’re not gonna be able to correct it.
I have an LST and an LST XXL. The XXL has a body. But the other does not. Tons of upgrades. Both are minty and gone through.
