  Good video👍We've got sheep behind a wire fence onto our back garden and one sheep in particular won't leave us alone since we first fed her a digestive, we hand feed her but we won't give in to her constant demands though lol 😊

  im confused, does the diameter of the bottom bracket remover matter because all the ones I find on amazon are 24mm not 32mm like the park tool

  To add to Samantha James's comment, I too always admire the canal when going to see my relations in Llandrindod where it runs next to the A483, a question I have is the canal ends in Newtown near the River Severn so is the river navigable from Newtown and if so is there a connection from the canal to the river ?

  The River Severn isn’t navigable to Newtown. I believe that it has never been navigable further than Pool Quay, and that was quite some time ago. Therefore there is no connection between the river and the canal, at any point on the Montgomery.

  The canal will be amazing once reinstated. The area it goes through is stunning. Used to drive past it on the way into Wales and always hoped it would one day be reopened in full.

  It’s a 68/73mm bracket, with a BSA thread.

  I used a Nukeproof bottom bracket. Others should work and fit just the same though.

  That section of the canal will need to be emptied again. I believe that those pipes have been put in to allow it to be pumped dry, then will be removed.

  Great overview! I definitely agree with all your thoughts on the calendar as a whole. Thanks for the shout out. I cracked up at the end when you said it wouldn't settle and you couldn't blame a crap one handed pour. 😂 I'm waiting for a beer box with Hoppy Xmas to arrive and then I will do my final thoughts on the calendar whilst drinking it.   I can’t tell you how much of a difference it makes, because straight after changing the bottom bracket we entered lockdown, so I haven’t done anything more than a test ride up and down the road so far. It does stop the noise. I wouldn’t have changed except the noise started and the rotation of the cranks was noticeably unsmooth when pedalling hard.

  @@samb2334 The bottom bracket cost me £53, and the crankset was bought as part of a full groupset, which cost me £357. So for that I’m also getting a chain, cassette, rear derailleur and shifter.

  The supplied pedals require a spanner IIRC. My replacement pedals can use either.

  Any weight saved over the other bottom bracket and crank combination?

  I did weigh them, but forgot to write the values down! From memory, the GX cranks were a bit lighter, about 80 grams, and the Nukeproof bottom bracket was quite a bit lighter than the Powerspline - maybe 100 grams or so. Not enough to notice the difference on a 15 KG bike though!
