  Tbh, I've found that it's easier to add kicks later. Make your lead line, then your sub, then a kick that feels like it fits. Youre usually using the midbass as a rhythm component, with 1 layer rolling like this, and 1 on the and, so the kick ultimately serves to accent the beat, it's not the driving rhythm element
