  Disconnect the pump cord from the controller and reconnect it again and make sure the connect is correct with the slot.

  Mine mainly spits out micro bubbles that the return pump dumps into the display tank

  Move it to other chamber or place a foam pad between the pump and skimmer. Moving the skimmer up or down also help.

  Could be a few reasons 1- open and check the impeller and the motor to see if anything stuck, clean the impeller and making sure the green part moves freely 2- could be water inside the controller, you also can open and take a look, sometime cold or excessive rains could build up condensation inside and it mess up the board

  So many people neglect this simple task. It works, but why does this happen it adds a nuisance task to the hobby. In fact some hob skimmers (aqua max)will dump a few gallons on your floor when this happens .

  Over heat 1- from the controller being cover or condensation 2- some restriction on the impeller, bockage creating more pressure and could heat up the motor.

  This is a water pump, you just connect to your tubing / piping. There is nothing special or requirement.

  Yes you can install external however it need a check valve at the end of the inlet pipe.

  Kicap Subsea the impeller stuck or water damaged to the controller. If use with saltwater, over period of time calcium despair build up inside the impeller and it prevent the impeller from spinning freely.
