This was one of the best reviews I’ve seen to date ! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Thank you so much!
I currently have RT shaker challenger, but I would buy an RT V8 charger if it had one.
I sure love my fifteen shaker challenger
It dose not mater what engine you use or witch head all you need 6-71 G M blower John Barrett

Excellent article!
Thank you so much!
My late husband bought one a good 10 years ago. He has been gone 6 years and just today, Father's Day 2024, I took the stool out and gave it a good bath and it's now residing inside the house. I don't need it out in the garage anymore because when I use his scroll saw or the band or chop saw, it's just for basic cuts and the little stool isn't tall enough for this arthritic 73 year old widow. But I will use it inside as a sort of kneeling bench, helping me to get up and down to get chores done down on or near the floor. Plus, I love the black and red colors and the magnetic tool tray for when I need to carry around screwdrivers and nails and screws. It's a welcome little household addition and my cats like to sit on it as well. I did notice that the pneumatic part isn't adjusting up and down anymore but I bet I can tweak that and get it working again. Thanks for the video...I had forgotten how it was put together.
Great video ❤.
Covered everything and more. Slow down the background score. 🫡
I'm looking at a Turbo T with LC2, WO2 and black paint. It's almost a WE4 but with a hood ornament! Confusing! Haha.
I know! Right?!? 😆
Good video! Great back story! I'm currently building a Revell 1963 version of the 1941 SW&C Willy's and wanted to know who they were. Thank you 😎👍
Awesome! Thank you for watching!!
Mustang II was a pile of sh*t when it was new. there’s a reason why people keep them in barns.
This is one of the best videos I have seen about the challenger well done. I have a challenger, a beautiful challenger.
Thank you so much!
Great video
Thank you so much!

Thank you so much!
Great informative video , I love it 😻 thank you from South Australia 🇦🇺
I want one of these so bad😭😭🥰🥰
God bless you guys thank you for the video I have a bumper with a dent on it I’m gonna give this a try
Good luck! Let me know if it works!
59:49 i honestly don’t see these EVs moving the needle. Maybe you’re optimistic, but from where I’m sitting the Hemi certainly gave Dodge its present cult-like claim to fame
I am trying to be optimistic here. You are definitely right, the new Hemi has been instrumental in Dodge's current success. The drastic change may prove to be too much for them. Only time will tell!
Small modifications, like just swapping to hire compression ratio pistons. if you’re changing something in you rotating assembly it is not a small modification. What are you gonna do swap pistons and not balance it
Your Video Was Very Informative keep up the great work I Had a Dodge Magnum R/T Do a Video about those if you haven’t already. Thanks
Thank you so much! I will put the Magnum on the list!
Great production!!! Well written and presented. You should update the video including the last call editions and their back stories. Also about Stelantis and their electrification strategy, common platforms and powerunits and the future of Dodge and Challenger name plate. Again, excellent video. 👌
Thank you so much! Actually, I just updated the Charger video in the same way! The Challenger update is on the list!
@@TheGearheadLounge great! Will be there to support your next video and will surely watch the charger video.
Fantastic video, thanks for all your research. By the way new sub.
Awesome! Thank you so much!
The BEST most comprehensive historical video on the history of the 67 GT500. As always, completely knocked it out of the park. I am a huge Shelby fan, but learned loads of small details. Great video, keep it up!
Thank you so much!
This video was very well crafted, narrated, and put together. I remember over the course of last year I was searching for my dream car (Dodge Challenger RT) during the last call and I would ultimately come back to this video over and over again just for fun as well as for comfort. I succeeded my mission last July (2023) and I must say this video really fueled my inspiration even more along the way. To this very day I still watch it and any content you put out I ultimately vow to support, even the NBA stuff which is also another one of my passions. Thank you for your continuous inspiration and knowledge. Looking forward to all of your work of the future. 👑 Thank you !
Congratulations on your purchase! Thank you for your story, I'm thankful that this video played a part in your inspiration! You made my day!
I don't know how many blue Willys were built by SWC, but around 2021 I saw one parked in a front yard on Brevard Road near the Arboretum crossing in south Asheville NC.. told my wife, ".. that car is famous!!"
Nice!
Awesome video. You did a great job. Thank you
Thank you so much!
If you can’t beat ’em you cry like lil bitch right Ford and GM guys?
What a great story ! , I have many memories of seeing the SW&C willys gassers run , along with Big John and all the rest of the legends back in the day, the way it should be , fun friendship and good friendly competition . 😎👍
Did you just copy someone else's video word for word
No, sir. Researched and written by yours truly!
@@TheGearheadLounge go watch another version of what your video is and it has every every reference word for word just out of sequence. You research the hell out of that video for sure. Do you need the link?
@@deanlarkins5858 Yes, please!
Okay so.. the hemispherical combustion chamber has been around for ages.. even the Knight sleeve valve engine used a “hemi” chamber.. Chrysler trademarked a marketing term. Not to belittle the Chrysler product in its form.. But making the all to-do about the chamber shape really isn’t the magic behind it.. there’s a lot more to this picture.
What was the gadget you have for the car wash?
I used a Portland 1750 psi pressure washer from Harbor Freight and a Mingle foam canon I purchased from Amazon. I still use them! They’re great!
Great info. on the 68 Shelby GT500 and GT500KR. My car is on the 7:53 to 8:13 mark. Well done.
Thank you for your kind words, thank you for watching, thank you for allowing me to use your footage. Your car is beautiful!
Those square lights though... so sad. There were on point with round ones placed were they were. Stupid California has a way of screwing things up for everyone.
Dodge will go under in the near future. They're making lame ev vehicles no one wants.
give them a chance they will fight back.
This is great! I love the '41 willys, and this is a GREAT story about a great one I didn't know!
Thank you so much!
Great video, it's a really good overview of the car
Thank you so much!
Just a tip. The background music is too loud.
Really good video of the goat of all engines The awesome HEMI
Thank you so much!
I wish nascar had not banned those ohc engines. They should have just lowered CID to slow things down. Much R&D/refinement was lost for 30 years. That technology is what made it possible to still make power and still satisfy the EPA and get efficiency. I know it came from the likes of Merlin and the GAA Ford in WWII. But refinement made it really work.
Agreed!
@@TheGearheadLounge I'd love to see you do the 427 Ford and what it all accomplished in the 60s. Really remarkable in all it's forms. Absolutely loved the time you took on this video about the HEMI. Keep up the great work.
@@hotrodfeguy Thank you so much!
Whats the name of the TF dragster car at 1:05:18 ? The one blowing up.
I am so sorry…I couldn’t find who that was. I looked through my archives and noted that I named that file “Nitro Explosion”…nothing I can use to trace back to what the original was. I even did a few searches to see if I could pull it up again. My apologies!
@@TheGearheadLounge was just curious but ty
I remember picking up my car from impound in the late 80s. There was a white 87 Turbo T with burgundy interior SITTING ON THE GROUND WITH NO WHEELS! No hood. I remember staring at the motor wonder what the fuck I was looking at. Been in love with them ever since. A couple years later I found one on a used car lot for $7000. It was sitting next to a hot air Grand National with a LEATHER interior for $12000. The salesman told me the T was cheaper because "nobody knows about these." He said nobody wanted it but everybody that stopped wanted the GN. He was driving the T home every night as a personal car until he sold it. Then he started bragging about all the cars he beat in it. He actually let me drive it because back then nobody would let you drive them if they were on a lot. Anyway the T was a fuckin beast and I got it for 7k! Wish I still had it.
Great story! Thank you so much!
Its beautiful!
Thank you Sir, for this automotive history video, Brilliance!
Thank you so much!
@@TheGearheadLounge You're welcome Sir
I have the y56 t package limited. I have never seen another one. I’m interested if anyone else has? Y56 is the regal t with 397 v8 engine with turbine wheels, t steering wheel, sports suspension and badges but also has the Regal classic limited pillow seats and shifter up on steering wheel. The car is black and chrome. I love it!
False Porche uses Chrysler Semi Cumbustion Engine of the 1950's from the Chrysler/Plymouth Division! Porche didn't have a HEMI Automobile Ever! The Chrysler HEMII is derived from the WWII XP Chrysler 16-Cylinder HEMII Aircraft Engine for "The XP47-Thunderbolt Fighter or Pursuit Airplane!
Dodge isn't technically a pony car. It's a muscle car. Unless it's a straight 6..still not a pony car..lol
Great review Gearhead! Any tips to ensure the tires don't go flat?
Thank you so much! That’s something I’m always concerned about! My advice is to: 1) Don’t store anything in the wagon for long periods of time-especially anything heavy. 2) if you need to store it, I suggest hanging it on the wall to eliminate the tires from flat spotting.
