Thanks! I just had a sensor die and now I know that the battery isn't serviceable.
Thanks this was even useful to help me with the 2003 model, although some minor details are different.
Thanks Bro
Thanks 👍
I need to express my thanks for this video. I did the same installation on my car last week. The only difference is that I did not have access to a lift so I removed the front bumper cover and did the assembly on the ground. It added more time but it was really only 14 pop connectors. That 10mm bolt will be tricky if you’re working from below. I would advise that you use only genuine Subaru right and left brackets. The aftermarket ones are junk. I ordered the lens assemblies form Amazon but used the real Subaru brackets and hardware. This video covered it all and gave me exactly the details I needed. I suggest a flashlight to help find the clips since if removing the pop clips.
what part number is that?
Just ordered new drivers side sun visor for my 2011 Tribeca…$359 😳😳😳
Would the Legacy wagon tailgate fit the Outback?
Thank you for your videos! I’ve learn so much!
You didn’t show the inside 10mm bolts?
Would this generally be the same way to perform this on a 2017 forester ? My air flow knob is stuck and can’t turn left past the foot air flow option !
THEY TOOK BROS SEAT 😨😨😨
thank you.
Very useful video. Im doing some anti rattle job in my obk and all your video where interior panels are to be removed are superuseful❤😊
Hoe did you detach the clips in the middle console where the gear box is?
Common mistake at 3:10 would be final torquing that bolt until the car is resting on its tires (or you've jacked the hub to the equivalent of ride height). Otherwise, the bushing becomes twisted upon lowering the vehicle, which shortens its life.
Thanks much bro
Where did you get your radiator from
Come over here really quick. I will show you nothing again
Lol typically you would start from the beginning, not when you’re 99% done
I saw the removal and thought to myself "omg, that would be hard to put back on!" And than I saw this video. My man, You're my savior! Thank you very much!
So retightening roof rails are going to be quite a bit of work 🤔
I can't tell if this is a joke. My pucker factor was high listening to that cvt squeal😬
The seat track covers on mine were a 🤬to remove. Definitely disconnect battery and pull the airbag fuse. Let it sit for a while just in case, the last thing you want to do is have to replace airbags also.
In the driver's side seat removal video he says you can wash or pressure wash the seat. That's a bad idea. Due to the airbag(s), and sensors (detect a passenger sitting and enable the airbag), and the heating "element" for heated seats - which looks pretty fragile - soaking the seats is a bad idea. A really bad idea. Seat have had to be removed and repaired, at great expense, because an adult or child in very wet swimwear got it wet.
weird how you search for a video on how to do this and the right way with to do this with all the answers shows up after a week..hmm.i cant thank you enough even if it was 4 years ago.your still helping the subie family..I hit the thumbs up.
I can't see anything,only your body
Thank you, very helpful. I have a 2017 Forester standard model. I need to replace back mirror cover (passenger). Will I need glue? or screws or does it just snap into place?

Helped me knock it out thanks man!
Thanks for posting this. I'll be replacing my neighbor's headlight assemblies for her tomorrow. Having watched this video, things should go much more smoothly. 👍

Thank you so much for making this! I was seriously thinking about bringing it into a dealership... but your video makes it like so easy! Thank you!
is this possible to do with a 2011 Forester?
How the hell did you get the door panel off? This video was not helpful at all
Is this channel is ongoing? Where are the guys now? I need info for Subaru 2017. Thanks
Wow no idea it was this straight forward! My vent has been stuck on defrost since winter when the whole car was sub freezing. Despararly needing the AC vents thru the dash now, ill be doing this soon. Thanks again. KZread never fails with the DIYs
I have a 2022 model but this video should be very similar. Thanks for sharing this. This will save me 100% of the labor cost to replace it.
You did a great job explaining every step of the way to make it easy to understand, when I do this project, I figure it will be super easy based on your video.
Thanks man
I accidentally pulled the back tabs of this part out when the cup holder caught on a drink bottle. I've been driving around with that bugging me for years. I wish I had looked this up ages ago, so simple!
How do I get to the glass when the sunshade moves with the glass? My problem is the glass won't close all the way so I have to clean out the rails but need the glass off.
You can manually close the glass with a 5mm allen key, look in your manual for where to close it
THAT IS THE INCORRECT WAY TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY CABLE. ALWAYS DISCONNECT NEGATIVE FIRST TO PREVENT VOLATGE TO COMPUTER. DONT OVER TIGHTEN THE BATTERY HOLD DOWN OR ELSE YOU WILL WARP THE BATTERY CASE AND BREAK THE THIN BATTERY PLATE INSIDE. NEVER OVER TIGHTEN THE BATTERY CABLE.THERE IS A PLASTIC SPACERS ON THE TERMINALS TO HELP YOU HOW FAR YOU CAN TIGHTEN THEM
let me know what the name of your shop is so I can make sure not to go there
Thank you!
Very useful information. Can you tell me where I can't get a new rear spoiler for a outback 2005?Thanks
Thanks but is it same thing on the subaru legacy sedan 2008
Thanks! 😁
to remove the electric buttons panel, there is a screw under the rubber pad in the bottom of the dip/grip area then it well pop out. also remove trim piece around inner door handle or it will break when you pop the door card free.
