I may have to reevaluate my decision not to buy a power hammer; this one looks much more suited to my needs. What can you tell me about availability? Source?

Thanks for posting this! I hadn't thought of using V dies for projects like this, but I can see I will need to make some! Looks like they would also be useful for necking down pipe to make flowers, probably work better than the round dies I use in my guillotine tool.

Very nice David!! Not a real soon project for me but I need to scale one of these down to a 1/8 scale for a portable blacksmith car for our train. Also hoping to build a larger size for the real shop. Thank You!!

Holy cow that's pretty awesome station. @ 00:42 you should wheel that in the house at Christmas time and put lights on it. ;)

That is very impressive. I have actually been thinking of forging one too, but my skills are not there yet. It would be more of a decorative piece anyhow. Looking forward to seeing some old timey fiddle tunes or Irish jigs being played on it.

A farm tractor isn't ideal for snow removal, but it works.
