Have you ever been checked for your registered drone flights (NCAA)? We go to Namibia soon, and I just found out that you have to register every drone flight to the NCAA in advance. I have no time left to do the application process, and we will already be back home when the application will be granted (processing time).

Most of the shots were filmed in Etosha national park with a telephoto lens. The shots of the cheetahs were filmed in a conservation fund, where you can get quite close to the cheetahs.

It is in the Tiras mountains, the highest peak right next to the farm. Unfortunately I can't tell you where excatly.
Respect & hearty Congratulations - That was a super piece of work. Downside is you now face a barrage of Questions .......... - Drone used.... ? - Video camera .... ? - Software for production .. ? - Where did you Camp (pre-Sossusvlie & Sisriem Canyon) and afterwards, especially as you headed north towards Etosha. Couple of gorgeous spots you found to climb, view and drive. Why am I asking.... ? Because we are in deep Trip Planning mode for an epic Overland from NBO to CPT using heavily modified Land Cruiser 4x4 with Tent on Roof. Thnx so much on all counts.

Philipp Weihmann Danke! Von 4:58 bis 5:13 ist im Sesriem Canyon, direkt nebem dem Sesriem NWR Campingplatz. Danach von 5:13 bis 5:23 ist bei der Mondlandschaft ca. 30km östlich von Swakopmund. (Findet man auf Google Maps nur unter dem enlischen Namen "Moon Landscape")

Did you use any special equipment for the night sky time-lapse? Do you use gimbal for your sony camera?

anna pacholski For the time lapses I used the sony (with the 16-35 2.8 for the night shots) and just a cheap remote with an interval function. I don't own a gimbal for the sony. Most of the shots were shot handheld and stabilized in premiere pro.

Mathieu Dejonghe This is on the C13 in the south at the border to South Africa, somewhere between Aussenkehr and Rosh Pinah. Where the outflow of the Fish River joins the Orange River. You may search for (-28.0949993, 17.1735999) in Google Maps.

Yes, it is. We were the third at the gate in the morning and startet the hike right when we arrived. About an hour later there were several tourists hiking up the dune.
