What's skid steer is that?
The machine is a Kubota SVL 97-2. The track frame, DEF location, engine air intake pre-cleaner and overall design of the cab and rear of the machine, gave it away. The loader arms have been re-engineered and the black mesh around the windows has been removed. It's rather interesting.....
We did this back in the 80s with a long chunk of railroad iron fixed to a caterpillar D-5. Thank goodness we didn't have to deal with Lazer stuff. Glad to see knowledge coming back.

Im not going to act like i wouldnt really like to have this system, but Im really questioning using this in something other than dry small aggregate, or sand. I mean, i guess thats why they make dozers, but it would be a very unusual job to get grading a bunch of sand, its usually cutting wet clumpy dirt or the occasional gravel job, but it would be rare to find a job like they are showing here where this unit is absolutely ideal, and the laser mast was shaking quite a bit, not sure how much that affects the grade

So in 2D you wouldn't use a rotating laser ? Just the control box in cab ?
Hi Kevin! The up/down movement is driven by a rotating laser transmitter and the slope movement by a slope sensor.

Hi Kevin. This attachment has a tilt plate that allows you to do slopes. The control box is actually in the cab. The cost depends on where you are located and the machine you run.
