Yup... that was 14 years ago! (Hey, my van is 14 years old...) Plus, many people (like myself) had a PVR by then... not many people were using VCRs anymore.... some of these commercials may have been lost forever!

Who was still using analog TV and recording them onto VHS tapes? By the 2010’s, that stuff was getting outdated. I think I might be sensing some broke ass people who don’t own HDTV sets.

Wow, I miss having fake pizza at real prices - well not really. JD Roberts just out of his undercover narc phase. And more lemons for sale than at a limoncello festival. Shame about Mark Daly going so young though. I'd say they were good times but they weren't.

I enjoyed the slices at PPizza in the 90s. Had not had it in 27 years until they opened up a PP here on the west coast a mile from my house. I picked up a couple slices after they opened a couple months ago and it was absolutely terrible lol. disgusting cardboard. meanwhile Dominos is exactly the way it was in these still, a guilty junk food pleasure.

I remember the Santo Gold infomercial airing on the Erie stations as well. Usually on channel 12, and usually very late at night after Letterman and before they signed off. I remember falling asleep in front of the TV as a little kid one summer night, and waking up to the guy singing and being freaked out by it. 😂
