I love both pickups. I'm a big fan of the JB but I'd leave the Burstbucker Pro because it's great. The JB has a very different feel, and I love that feel, but in an LP I love Burstbucker Pros and wouldn't change them ever.

Finally a useful pick-up demo with chords that modern rock actually uses. Every pick-up demo is someone playing a blues-y guitar solo that is absolutely useless information

Соболезную, до сих пор помнб как смотрел это по телику, когда еще блы A-One. Я был на твоем концерте в Питере, когда еще был подростком. Одна из лучших групп того времени. Я уже живу в другой стране, но часто переслушиваю и погружаюсь в болезненную ностальгию по тому времени, беззаботному и счастливому.

Curti mais o JB, os médios são mais “na cara”, isso ajuda muito a destacar a guitarra na mix, quando está tocando com banda junto. Os Gibson te os médios mais esculpidos, isso esconde o som da guitarra na mix.

I just got a 2020 les paul standard, but I am not a big fan of the bb pro in the bridge. I can tell the difference from my other two guitars fitted with JBs (ibanez exposed bobbins, ltd ec covered) specially palm muting. The lows seem loose to me and nasal. The neck bbpro sounds amazing for leads tho. Anybody has any good experience moving from BBs to JB?

lol !!! i thought the same the pickups are virtually the same if ya ohm them out... i can't really hear a difference at all... the Seymores are more versatile being you can wire them for coil split ....series ...phasing and parallel if you want gibsons way cheaper great sound !!

To me they both sounded Great !!! They are really close to the same. One thing I do like is the Seymour Duncan are more affordable.

OK, that's weird. I though Duncans will sound better on their own and BB would cut through the mix better, but it's exactly the OPOSITE! Duncans cut through the mix amazingly, while BB sounded better on their own.

Both sounded great but the Burstbucker had a slight cutting edge without sacrificing tone. I have the '61 Zebra Pickups ( which are in the Gibson Burstbucker family) in my SG and I couldn't be happier with them. Plenty of Power, Plenty of Tone!

@@user-gk8io1vt2v Сравнительные отрывки звучат одинаково ровно настолько, насколько в них присутствует одинаковых элементов в цепи. Различия лишь в датчиках. Незначительные, но они есть. Особенно в миксе общем слышно. Но оба, по-моему, звучат хорошо. Я сделал этот тест для того, чтобы пацаны вроде меня не маялись вопросом "какой датчик поставить на свой леспол?" А просто брали и играли на том, что уже стоит. Потому что и так стоит охуенный бёрстбакер". Сеймур я в итоге продал. Бёрстбакер красивее смотрится.

BB Pros are one of the few Gibson PU's I actually like. The Dirty Fingers is okay too. Sort of reminds me of a hybrid between a JB and a Distortion.

I just replaced my Burstbucker pro with a JB. To my ears the JB is alot louder and not thin and bright like the burstbucker.

It’s a Bridge pickup comparison... it’s safe to assume when he writes SH4 he’s referring to the SH4.... which is a bridge pickup 😂🤷♂️

burstbuckers would be fantastic pickups if they would dial back the harsh edge and add a touch more clarity when overdrive. but for clean tones I think burstbuckers are exceptional.
