Where are you finding the keywords
@Melodie_RichardsКүн бұрын
We find keywords to use doing comps in the eBay sold listings on similar items usually. We also like to try to keep an eye out in a general sense for what’s trending online and in stores.

Please share how many listings (items) you have in inventory and also any storage and organizing methods you have tried, discarded and chosen. I have just started this year and I experience quite a bit of overwhelm with all of the items in my living space, trying to process them, etc. I mainly sell clothes but am open to other categories as I come across those items. Frankly, I think other categories can bring in quite a bit more $ per sale, which is nice. But I do enjoy the clothes quite a bit, personally as well. Especially when I run across vintage or unique items. That is fun. It's interesting you have been in it quite a while now and have seen costs go up but you stayed. It's quite a bit of work but also can be exciting. Looking forward to more of your content. You are obviously a hard worker.

At the moment we have about 1,500 items listed, we don’t store many items for a backlog.. maybe about 100 items waiting to be processed. As far as an inventory system goes, we do an ordered sku and date method and consolidate the gaps when needed (similar to Tech n Sports way). I am hoping to do a video on our inventory down the road! ☺️

Can you do a video of how to tell a sell-thru rate of a brand or item? Also, I bet the people that you sold at a reasonable price were happy. There is a market out there for customers that don't want to buy an expensive item.
@relatablebranden5 күн бұрын
divide the amount of that item listed by the amount sold in the last 90 days.
@Melodie_Richards5 күн бұрын
Yes there’s definitely a market for lower priced items, you just have to make sure it fits in your business model. Maybe I can do a video on sell through rates and doing comps at some point! Until then, you can find a sell through rate by searching something specific and diving the sold number by the listed number and turn that decimal into a percentage. For example: 400 sold, 500 listed 400/500=0.8 which is 80% ☺️
@user-ye8lj4cb8c7 күн бұрын
It really would be more informative if you simply showed screenshots of your sold listings while you discussed them. The main photo is fine and that would also give us the title you used. We don't need to see measurement photos haha and unfortunately you didn't always name the brand in these solds. :-( but I appreciate the info. Do some more!
