    I see that you also had some friendly rodents eat your firewall up and stuff the fiberglass in the valley of your engine too, glad I'm not the only one. I've seen this a few times now. Must be a cozy spot for those pesky critters.

    Great video! If you had put the 7 pin connector in the opposite end of the pelican from the battery you would have had plenty of room for the switches… Love what you did.

    We just did the same thing to our 8611. For the wings we ended up drilling tapping the blade so that there was no bit or bolt on the back side. So far so good but still haven’t had much of a season at all yet

    So far so good, unfortunately, we didn’t have a very busy season after these were installed one of our worst seasons in the last 11 years. Hopefully, I will have some more data this weekend. They are barely starting to wear in at the moment.

    @@JoeBarronTV I hear you. February is usually our biggest snowfall month. But last year we barely had an ice event the first week of February and nothing after that. We still had okay revenue with salting applications in Dec and Jan.

    I know this is an old video, but how and where did you get the wires into the cabin?

  • @JoeBarronTV
    @JoeBarronTV8 ай бұрын

    Best spot is the vents on the back of the cab, (if your going to put the brain under or behind the back seat) I used the vents rather than the firewall because I wanted the output brain under the backseat…

    @@JoeBarronTV, sorry more questions, how did you get access to the vent? Remove the Bed?

  • @JoeBarronTV
    @JoeBarronTV8 ай бұрын

    @@Jason_Shelby77 nope from the outside it’s accessible to reach between Only thing you will need to do inside the cab is is carefully cut some of the cabin insulation between the seat and back wall to reveal the vent from the inside. Once you cut the insulation I usually use a fish tape to pull the wires in

    This is by far the cleanest built trailer I’ve ever seen. Love the electrical set up done CORRECTLY. Love the dual battery, charging indicator, hydraulics, wireless set up and lights! Looking to do a few of these to my Hull trailer. Good to know about the voltage drop and draining the truck battery

    is your milwaukee 12v battery holder a through mount? all I can find online is the flange surface mount. I would like to make mine with the battery installed from the outside rather than open it up. did you order, or have a link or 3d print your own?

    Like it! I also built a tester out of a 6x6x4 plastic junction box a few years ago, it runs on shore power and I put in an actual flasher for turn signals. My next iteration will be in a pelican with battery power like this

    LED markers delivered, waiting on fuel line for housing. Im going to weld small bolts to the outside of the plow frame along the side to hold the wire/fuel line housing with rubber P clamps. That way i don't have to worry about zip ties breaking in the cold or deterioration. For covers I went with 3/4" pipe insulators for ease of use and only $6 each.

    Are you flash battery settings touch to ground or +. I have one that is momentary touch to ground and thinking the only way to trigger it is with 4200 controlling a relay to ground. Is this how you did it?
